Review: Very glad I went ahead with purchase despite overwhelming poor reviews 11/2025 - Genuinely impressed with this desk. £89.99 is exceptionally priced for what you get. Honest review, Almost didn't buy this desk due to overwhelming negative reviews, so glad I took the chance. - Solid and sturdy desk I wouldn't trust my PC and Monitor on there if it wasn't (MSI 32" 1000r screen & Corsair 4000D glass/metal case) neither are these are light in weight. - Time to assemble took me 1 hour and 30 mins nothing more than a electric screwdriver and some common sense. - The instructions are just about readable due to very small print but a little common sense you could build it without instructions. - Delivery was perfect, delivered on the day expected, the tracking was provided day before as stated with a map and phone call to track delivery time and location. To address some of the poor feedback, the desk I received was numbered clearly for every panel and fixings bagged well with letters. Instructions can be read but its not as clear as it could be just print it a little bigger. All pre drilled holes are there for fitting *although they have been vinyl coated over after being drilled so just pop a screw driver bit through each hole before trying to put screws through it. Draw rails need to be separated (with a clip to do so) Desk - fit the outer edge rail to the desk with given holes Draw - line the rail along the most bottom edge and toward the back of the draw this you do need electric screwdriver for or drill with screwdriver bit in as no holes pre drilled for the draw itself *ensure the rail is fitted correct direction to insert into the desk rail, lines up great, opens and closes nicely. The vinyl coating does scratch easily while assembling so be careful if your on the floor to have a soft place to put down panels, well packaged in 2 separate boxes. Overall love the desk and price paid for it.
Review: Heavy and confusing - I have to start by saying I really like this desk. However it is very difficult to put together. I followed the instructions step by step but still had problems. Neither the instructions nor the pieces themselves are clearly labelled as to which way around they should be assembled. For example there is a piece that forms the bottom of the left pedestal. This piece has a rail fitted on the right side and then the vertical pieces which form the shelves are placed on the left and some feet are nailed into the bottom. However it wasn't clearly labelled which way up it should go so I assembled it upside down and then had to remove the feet which I had nailed into place leaving nail holes behind. Similarly, the instructions state that the two pedestals are to be joined together by a back piece and then the desktop put onto the top. Unfortunately this was not possible so the back piece had to be removed then the desktop attached and then the back piece re-attached otherwise the receptacles for the pins on the desktop would not align. It was a similar story with the drawer in the right pedestal. With the sides and the back of the pedestal screwed together as per the instructions, the drawer would not fit. I had to unscrew one side of the pedestal and then tighten up the screws again - but not too much otherwise the drawer would not move at all. That was the negatives, now the positives. The desk is huge!! There are smaller islands in the Caribbean! I exaggerate, of course, but you get the picture. There is plenty of shelf space although the shelves are only big enough for CD cases rather than the more modern DVD style cases that most physical games media come in nowadays. There is a shelf on the right pedestal large enough for most home printers (although, like me, you may have to turn it sideways to fit); along with a shelf underneath to store your paper and spare ink etc. Like many home desks there is no cable management to speak of, but since all the cables run at the back along the floor this isn't a problem. The desk is also very sturdy but surprisingly easy to move even "fully loaded" on a carpeted floor. All in all I would recommend this desk but with a warning about studying the instructions very carefully and being prepared to pull previously built bits apart in order to fit other parts.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant piece of furniture!

Yes. I agree this is a very hard to assemble piece of furniture however the pre manufactured holes, institutions and numbered pieces and screws the process is easier. I suggest you build with 2 people, as I struggled on my own. The desk it's self is very aesthetically pleasing and the quality and strength is also very good. The desk arrived in two separate packages earlier than expected (which is always a good thing.) Thank you for this product, I highly recommend!
