Use this rocket in school teaching.
Used extensively for teaching KS3-KS5 physics, as a school teacher, and science generally. Excellent to use, with "tracker" web online software for SUVAT analysis ... as well as being super fun as a science lesson ! Kids love it, and as a teacher it's super cool. Use on a playing field, face away from it as you pump (stirrup pump is best), and leave space downwind. It travels 40-50m upwards, accelerating to around 120km/hr in 0.16s, pulling 20g. Excellent. Can't upload video, due to safeguarding rules, but try it out as a school teaching prop, then look at taking part in Esero's CANSAT. Wow !

So much fun!
So much fun. my 11-year-old son and I had a great time making rockets and firing them up into the sky. Easy to use and super effective and fun. highly recommended

Great learning, great fun, great value
My twin 4 year old sons and I just launched our Rokit for the first time. Our tentative first experience was so successful that our Rokit shot straight over our four-storey house and disappeared completely! The boys are convinced that it really has gone into orbit and expecting an alien to despatch it back to them with a coded message anytime soon. Lots of laughs and excitement all round... Can't wait until the replacements I've just ordered arrive - will leave it in the garden with a message attached!! Great value, good fun and fun learning - 5 stars all round. just make sure you launch them in plenty of space where you can recover them easily!!

Great fun for all ages
Great fun for budding rocket scientists. Works best with 1 litre bottles which reach about 30-40m. The only issue is that the silicone tube split at the valve end, it is easily fixed by neatly cutting out the split section and reinserting the valve, I reinforced it with a little garden wire. Spent hours in the park pumping, launching and recovering rockets with the kids. Short video of Rokit in action [...]

Great science experiment.
I bought this for my daughter but even I enjoy it. Make sure you have plenty of space though because it really does shoot high and depending on the wind can travel a long way. Best to use in a quiet park or field. Not a lot comes in the box so I did question the value for money but overall it's educational and loads of fun.

Very well made - uses brass parts where others appear to use rubber/plastic
I have one of these already - bought in the British Science Musuem (maybe 20 years ago) after an in-house demonstration. I'm still using it - now with grandkids as my own children have grown up.I wanted to give one as a present (to the scientist among the grandkids) and looked about to find a version on Amazon. This one impressed me (and is pretty identical to the one I already have) and I bought it for the simple reason that as it relies on a pressure release mechanism to fire the rocket - the release mechanism needs to be robust and free from wear and tear. This version uses brass fitting that push fits into a rubber grommet (with lip) and this same mechanism has worked reliably for me over the past 20 years. The other versions seemed to have less robust mechanisms. The kids love it, as to the adults. It's very impressive in operation. It does require a good bicycle track/floor/foot pump to get the most from it.

Great fun for a day
Loved this some parts are quality some parts are cheap and break very easily. It lasted 1 day

Kids love it
Was bought as a Christmas present. It's very easy to assemble. We found that using a 1.5 litre bottle worked best and that it didn't need much water at all to fly high. We used a bike floor pump to pressurise the bottle and this worked well. The rocket flies really high so would recommend using it in a wide open space, especially if there is any wind (we launched it on a large playing field). The rocket seems to be quite expensive for what you get but it seems that there is very little to go wrong with the components so it should last a long time (as long as it doesn't get lost).
