Does it have a stopwatch function? it says so, but how do you start the stopwatch?

You set the minutes and seconds to 0:00 and press the start button or at least that is what I do.

Can you supply self adhesive metal plate? I need to stick on a wall that isn’t metal ? And where are the magnets in the back of this?

Just buy some double sided tape or velcro and fix to wall. Magnet is inside back

Does it remember the last set time so I can easily reuse it?

Does the backlight stay one whist it counts down

The numbers stay lit when the timer is in operation. It does seem to eat through batteries but we use rechargeable AAAs so it's not a problem. Really useful timer
