High-quality, dual-use mirror.
This dual-sided mirror is very versatile. The magnifying side is perfect for applying make-up while thenon-magnifying side allows clear viewing of the overall result. The ability to tilt it is a major advantagein catching available light and for ease of use, depending if one is sitting or standing. The mirror can bedetached from the support frame, making it easier to protect when packing. The [very small] downside is that the diameter of the base is such that it is awkward to pack but it does provide great sturdiness.If the base itself could be folded against the pole, this would be a perfect mirror.

This mirror is just what I was looking for, the magnifier is great for doing make up etcIt’s light and sturdy, perfect for dressing table and travel

great magnification
I don't know how suitable this would be for travelling, simply because I don't travel, but it is definitely sturdy enough and not too large for a suitcase. Stylish too, which was why I bought it for the bathroom. I like the fact that the base is oval rather than round so it fits on a narrow ledge. The magnification is very strong - some people might find it a bit too strong, it will depend on your eyesight. Personally I wouldn't use it as a make-up mirror because I have to put it too close to my face to get the magnification in focus, but for close-up examination of your skin or eyes it is perfect. I'd buy this again.

Sturdy, attractive and I can see what I need to on the x10 side. A bit large for travel, but if you keep the box it comes with, you would have no problem packing it safely for travels.
