Condition of used movie
First of all I apologize for asking for a refund and return. I discovered the following day that there is nothing wrong with the movie I purchased from you. The problem was me I was playing the DVD in the wrong player. The movie is fine. I will be keeping it. The cover shows no signs of wear and the movie is in great condition.

Great movie.
I liked this movie the first time I saw it.However it was after I got my first mule that I found out that she was one of the mules that was used in the movie doing the plowing in the field and at the end of the movie at the hanging. It brings back great memories of when I owned her.

Somersby
I really liked this movie-ALL of the acting was splendid. Richard Gere and Jodie Foster have an incredible chemistry.Set in the south of the United States just after the Civil War, Laurel Sommersby is managing to work the farm without her husband Jack, believed killed in the Civil War.Jack Sommersby was not a pleasant man,so when he returns, Laurel has mixed emotions. It appears that Jack has changed a great deal, leading some people to believe that this is not actually Jack but an imposter. Laurel herself is unsure, but willing to take the man into her home, and perhaps later into her heart... She knew his face. His touch. His voice. She knew everything about him... But the truth. As the story progresses, and Jack and Laurel fall more deeply in love then ever.Favorite line for me was: """"I told you to use the fertilizer in the fields, Jack."""""""A movie worth buying and watching!

great movie, arrived early and in good condition just as stated would use this dealer again. But let's get on with the movie If you have not had the oppertunity to see Jody Foster and Richard Gere then you have missed a Civil War love story that leaves you tearful and wanting to rewrite the ending. In a time when tradition and women's rights were deeply divided one can only embrace the courage that Jody Fosters character displays by her dicision to live the dream of love for a man she only wished her husband to be. great chick flick though I have to confess to seeing this movie in the theater and the gentleman sitted next to me felt moved emotional at the end as he kept saying to me don't cry it will turn out ok and was just as moved by the ending as I was. recommend as a great movie to watch.

Not the ending I wanted- loved it!
I really liked this movie. It did not end the way I wanted it, but it did end in the only way it could. I know it’s not real strong in the ratings category but it’s a keeper for me.

Can one man's life change the course of others? And who is he, really?
This is an interesting tale about a man and his choices in life, and the ramifications of those choices. It is a tale of romance in part, but with a sad and complicated ending. There is a mystery about the lead man and questions about his identity. Is who he said he was? In either case, whomever he is determined to be by the court, the resulting ramifications would not be good. Themes in this movie including trust, love and passion, and how who we choose to be changes the course of not only our lives, but of those close tonus and the community in which we live.
