Not emerald but vibrant
Definitely not emerald green but really vibrant and easy to apply, very little run-off

Blue based but looks purple
The media could not be loaded. This is a very deep blue so works well for me because I have a lot of red in my brown hair that I like to cool down. I only used it on my roots but let it sit on my lengths when I rinsed it out, for a bit. I never follow instructions so put it on dirty dirty hair for about 3 hours and covered in cling film then shampooed with my normal anti-dandruff shampoo then conditioned. I don’t think it needs this long to take, it was very very dark and covered my greys completely. After a couple of washes it still looks very very dark. This is a heavily pigmented dye so I had a blue scalp in a couple of places even tarter my second wash, but that’s why it covers greys I guess. Water runs blue, might stain your shower if you don’t rinse it off straight away. Didn’t damage my hair, actually felt stronger. I’ll be getting this from now on. Sorry I didn’t do a before photo but I had lots of white hairs at my roots prior to the root job 🙂

No reaction, definitely semi permanent and covered my green hair
I've never ever used crazy colour dye before. I tried the canary yellow around 2 weeks ago and the formula is great, works really well. I wanted to change things up though which is why I got the semi permanent black. I've had green hair for over a year and I'm constantly wanting to add other colours with it because just green feels so plain. I didn't like the yellow too much and decided to do half green and half black this week. I've never had black hair because I'm actually allergic to black henna tattoos and whenever I've patch tested black dyes, I have gotten reactions to them but no other colour. Patch tested the black and it was fine so i used it but still took precautions. To my surprise, there was no reaction! It did make my hair feel a bit stiff after using it like all the oils got stripped from my hair but the emerald green I used for the other side felt smooth, soft and silky. I used to always use la riche directions but have found the colour slips from my hair in an instant because the porosity of my hair is so bad it doesn't even take to permanent dye. I haven't washed my hair since I only dyed it yesterday but it has definitely rubbed off onto my pillows and wall that I lean against. I'm really happy with this brand of dye and might use it more often because the colours are so vibrant and are WAY better for me than la riche directions and those harmful box dyes. The only thing I had to do differently was add a small dot of the black to the emerald green because apparently it comes out more neon and I wanted the blue from the black to make it a bit more 'pine green'. All in all, I'm impressed and will be buying from this brand more often. (UPDATE) the black definitely has faded which is perfect! I wasnt sure if I was committed to the black so I'm glad it had faded. The black did cover my green hair too. All in all, I love these hair dyes!

Watered down product
If I could give it no stars I would. I have used crazy colour before and loved it but this was really watery, not like other colours I've used like it had been watered down. And the colour was nothing like the picture... If you apply it to pure white hair you may get a very light pink but you'd be lucky to get that.

Not same colour as advertised
This colour is more pink than it is red. It also doesn't cover grey hairs well at all and leaves hair looking uneven in colour. Not impressed.

Prefer it to others, p&p is cheaper from Crazy Colour
Been using this for....wow, well over 2years now! MY ONLY CRITICISM is that the instructions state that you should use it on damp hair - don't!!! If you apply it to damp hair it dilutes and doesn't come out as vividly. DO NOT let hairdressers tell you differently, mine wouldn't listen to me when he applied it after I'd had my roots bleached, he ended up re-applying it a second time at his own expense because it looked so bad and it was nothing to do with the bleach, the ends were just as bad!I prefer it to some of the others because of HOW it fades out (sounds weird but bare with me)... I haven't found that it lasts much more or less than other products but on top of my bleached section it looks just as advertised at first then fades to a vivid electric blue, then a turquoise. Whereas other products have fade to horrible skanky-looking pink/lilac colours within a week or two of dying my hair, people are asking me if I've changed the colour to blue because its so nice it looks intentional rather than looking rubbish as if it's faded out. This probably has something to do with the reddish tones washing out and the blue fixing to the bleach better. Either way I can get away with not dying it much longer than with the last product I was using, it's cheaper than the one I used before and I prefer the consistency as it spreads better so until I fancy a change I'll keep using it!If you're going ANY funky colour on a short term basis think long and hard and talk to your hairdresser!!! Once you bleach and mess around it's not easy or cheap to go back, especially to blonde or light brown and you can't blame hair dye for your bad decision making! P.s it's cheaper to buy from the website, their p&p is free.
