A great little battery
I almost didn't bother buying this after reading the one star reviews. It arrived the following day, had 52% power when I fitted it and quickly powered up to 100%. By the third day, it still had almost 60% power. This is a great little battery, slightly dearer than Samsung but works great. Saves me buying a new phone. The only odd thing was that it fits in upside down in my Samsung III. I have kept the old battery as a spare just in case.

Does the job!
My Samsung Galaxy S3 phone was getting very unresponsive and the battery draining very quickly. Although I need to sort out a new phone contract as I was going abroad on holiday I didn't want to take a brand new phone so decided to try replacing the battery. I was slightly nervous about buying a replacement battery online having heard that so many horror stories about "genuine manufactuer batteries" being fake and more importantly dangerous but having read that this battery was being supplied by Anker and not a 3rd party unknown supplier and found very good reviews about the Anker customer service I decided to take the chance, and I'm pleased I did. With the new battery in place the phone has been more responsive and is keeping it's charge well.

A quality product from a trusted manufacturer...
If you are looking for a new/spare/replacement S3 battery then look no further. I have two of these, one in each of a pair of trusty devices. The first, purchased in June 2015, is still going strong.Manufacturers say they are good for 500 'charge cycles', but in reality my first one has probably been through easily 1500 now, perhaps even 2000. Had two official and original Samsung batteries swell, bulge and fail over that same period, hence recently buying a 2nd Anker one.No hesitations in giving this product full marks.

Although battery was below expectations, customer service was excellent and i would not hesitate to purchase from Anker again
Battery was fine, but not a great deal better than the one i replaced, holding the charge in my S3 for a day at most. However, after writing this review I was contacted by Anker direct who were genuinely concerned with the performance of the battery and asked if they could provide a replacement. I would have accepted, however I lost my phone in the sea whilst on holiday and subsequently replaced it. I explained this to Anker and they are now providing a full refund to honour their 18 month Warranty. Excellent customer service.

Excellent Service
Ordered a Galaxy S3 Battery 2200 mAh as a replacement for my original Samsung battery because, after 4 years, that battery was only lasting 2/3 days. To explain, this mobile is mainly on standby and for a quite a few years the original battery lasted for more than a week with light usage.Received the Anker battery but, after a month, it started losing its charge. The battery came with an 18-month warranty and so I contacted Anker. A replacement was sent within a few days, there are no problems with the replacement and the service from Anker was excellent.

Trying again. I'm hopefull it will last!
bought 2 5 months ago. Still going strong. Though upon comparison (only been using 1 constantly), it does feels as though the capacity of the first one is lower. I'll update if i see any more problemsEdit: The battery finally became unusable, I always make sure the charge is above 50% when ever I can to elongate life.It lasted almost a year, Not as good as the original battery I got from Samsung.I have another one bought at the same time thats only used as an emergency from time to time, I'll use it and see how long it lasts and update accordingly.Edit2: Anker sent me another pair as per their quality guarantee. They noticed my 3 star review and wanted to send me a new pair just so I'll be 100% satisfied. They were nice and professional about it (even for my late replies!). As for my thoughts on the replacement themselves, It's as good as the pair I recieved when i first bought it. I hope it will last as long!

Bought 2. One failed immediately, one after 6½ months.
Bought two (for two phones), received November 2017. One tended to overheat right from first fitting so was removed and not used. Other has worked well until a few days ago (May 2018) and now is reluctant to charge. £9 for six months isn't too bad but 50% success rate is disappointing.

I ordered this battery as a replacement for a Samsung S3. Since using the battery I have noticed the following:Pros:- Pretty good replacement battery- it lasts just as long as the original- Very reasonably pricedCons:- Takes slightly longer to charge in comparison to the genuine Samsung batteryOverall:- I found this battery to be very well worth the price. I'm not too familiar with the Anker brand but this product did the job (and is continuing to do the job pretty well)
