Value for money
Lincoln has always provided good equipment whether jackets gloves or even this helmet. Easy to use.

Great for price
Bought this for work as an Ironworker and it works great. I changed the head gear to fit over my hard hat, which was easy to do. This hood is lightweight, has a little bit of flex to it as sometimes I have to fit in tight spaces. The viewing is large and the different shade options give me lots of range to choose from, depending on what process I'm using. It comes with 3 replacement lenses for both inner and outer lens. It also comes with Lincoln stickers. Highly recommend.

Great helmet
The clarity is amazing. If you can’t afford the 3350 this is the way to go. I do wonder what shade 8 would look like. Absolute 5 star helmet none the less.

Expensive, but worth it.
I'd been using a cheap no-name welding helmet for years (hobbyist). It was always impossible to follow the weld pool and my weld quality suffered. That problem is no more. I also like that you don't have to turn it off, it's always ready to go!

Better than old tech helmets
You can definitely see your weld better, blue like they say, but it is not like seeing in sunlight. It has been used it for silicon bronze mig welding on a Lincoln 115v machine. Those using more industrial levels of MIG welding might see a clearer advantage, so to say.The controls work fine, but the "off" view could be brighter. There are some cheap helmets with better stats, but I have faith the Lincoln is going to to last and be in use for a long time.I weld better now, the helmet does not try to amputate my ears like the old one and it is clearly a quality product. All in all was a good purchase. Someday there will be a technology that offers a completely clear view of welding, but it seems that will be later down the road. Weld quality is far more dependent on skill than helmets, but it is nice to have a good helmet as well.I feels good about this purchase.
