Outstanding dry-fire dummy round
Bought these to be able to dry-fire 22 .LR semi auto pistols. These load in a magazine just like a live round, will chamber like a live round, and will give your firing ping something to do besides damage the inside of your gun. You can rotate the "cartridge" around 90 degrees and get 4 "shots" off each anchor. After that the anchor will be deformed enough that you'll want to switch to the next one. I have a hard time getting them to back out of the chamber at times, but you just poke something down the barrel and they back out just fine.

Great for .22 snap cap
My son gets about 30 dry fires on his bolt action.22 LR out of these. They do not feed from the magazine though. Great sir snapping in practice.

Cheapened construction..no longer works as 22 snap caps.
No longer has enough material to function as 22 snap caps.

Anchors don’t fit in a 3/16” hole.
These anchors do not fit in a 3/16” hole. After I drilled a 3/16” hole when I tried to hammer in the anchor it would deform. The anchors are to large for a 3/16” hole.

Different application than you'd think -
I use them in my .22 rf rifles and pistols as a "snap cap". ie. When dry firing, many .22 rimfire firearm firing pins tend to peen the edges of the chamber and "snap caps" cushion the firing pin blow. These work very well but need to be replaced often. A whole lot cheaper than buying actual "snap caps". HTH
