Silver 2 Star Table Tennis Set - Red

Bought these for our annual trip to Devon where the holiday cottage has a table tennis table. This is the only time we play as we don't possess our own table. So we are not serious players and this must be borne in mind when reading this review. The set comes with two bats and three very serviceable balls. I half expected the balls to be wafer thin package fillers but they were very good. The bats appear to be good quality and held up to a week's worth of abuse with no complaints. I did think the handles were a bit short and could've been a bit more comfortable to hold but these are minor quibbles. I would recommend this set to any casual players.

I honestly can't see any way this item could be better. For what I paid I actually expected to get something flimsy and more along the lines of the type of toy you'd get at a beach shop but no, the bats are well made and easy to handle, the pack comes with three (what I can only assume are standard) balls.I am not a professional ping ponger, I'm not even a very good one, but there's an outdoor table at my local park and I really enjoy meeting my friends for an attempt at playing so this set really was ideal for my needs. But even if I wanted to play properly I don't think I'd find fault with this kit.My only concern is that I know one day a dog is going to run off with my last ball and when I have to buy replacements they'll cost more than this whole kit did!

I think it is good for beginner players, good quality.

These were unfortunately delayed by Royal Mail (due to Coronavirus issues I think) but the seller replied to my query very promptly and offered to investigate if the delay continued. Fortunately it didn’t. The bats are surprisingly good quality for the price paid and have been very much enjoyed by the family during lockdown - using dining room table and clip-on net! 😊

Today we opened Christmas present fir my daughter to go to village table tennis table we managed 3 balls to brake in 10 mins of play yes 3 balls all broke or cracked. Using village ball now with currently 30 mins of fun and still no brake I think says something about the balls in this set! The bats are pretty sturdy and value for money but very disappointed in the balls which are more brittle than egg shells.

Kids loved the bats , really good

Just wanted a basic pack to start playing here and there. So much fun. Luckily our balls weren’t broken. They might in time.
