More Tunes for Ten Fingers (Piano Time)

Brilliant beginners book for little piano players. Recommended by many tutors.

Piano book used and recommended by my child’s piano teacher. Fab book for continuing on with children’s beginner lessons.

My now 6 year old started with Tunes for Ten Fingers earlier this year and made really good progress with this method of teaching. I like the fact that the author doesn't treat the children in an inferior way, they are not taught to read music with the use of colours for example (then having to change from colours to notes as they get older), they start learning to read real music and play that music and build on their knowledge over time - it works!My daughter has just started this second book and she is really enjoying it.

I bought this on a friend's recommendation for my 7 year old.Together we worked through the book. I have very limited knowledge. The book is easy to follow.Once she finished the book, I booked her some piano lessons.It was a good way for her to start and to see if she wanted to learn, before we started playing.

Perfect book for going at your own pace. Very easy to understand and get both the music and finger posture correct too.

As I expected

Piano teacher requested so we purchased. This follows on from Book 1 but appears to not necessarily require a chronological approach as my child has been zipping all around this book so far. A good book with some good tunes.
