Riding for 4000 km round France this spring on our tandem, we fitted this camera the "wrong" way round, to give my partner on the back (the "stoker" in English) a view of the road ahead that wasn't just obscured by my back as the "captain" blocking her view in the front. So, the camera on our tandem is mounted facing forward, not back, on the handlebars at the front, and the screen is on the stoker handlebars just under the front seat. See pictures. Even if there isn't all that much detail on such a small screen, and the viewer on the back has to get used to the idea that the image is mirrored, left being right, and the right side of the view ahead being on the left, it worked brilliantly. The brain, interestingly, does adjust. The battery life was good, though keeping the screen plugged into a powerbank is NOT a good idea as you're riding, since with us this ended up breaking the screen's charger port. For the back end of our six-week trip the device couldn't be used. However, the reason I'm happy to give this item a full five-star review reflects its basic design, its light weight, its long life, its simplicity of mounting, and the superb customer service of Parkvision who replaced the defective screen not just with one item but three! Meaning that if the charging port goes south again, we can have a backup. It does seem that this item can be bought a little more cheaply from other sellers in China. But if you're looking for excellent support and a team that clearly cares how customers experience them and their procucts, then it's probably worth the extra expense.

Easy to fit , very clear screen Makes cycling safer.

I just bought two of these, one for each of our e-bikes. Myself and my wife are both past our prime and had low confidence in going out on the public roads on bikes. Most of that is the vehicles coming up behind and the fact that stiff shoulder and neck muscles makes turning round to check difficult. The units arrived on time well packaged and in perfect condition. They are easy to fit to the bikes, if I have a complaint it is that the bracket that carried the camera has insufficient range of size. It is clearly intended to be fitted to a seat post but both of our bikes have luggage racks and it would have been much more convenient to fit the cameras to them, however the tubing typically used on racks is smaller than can be accomodated in the camera clamp. I fixed this for my wife's bike by stealing one of the 'gaskets' from my own, and using that as a 'packer'. Reason is her bag would have obscured a camera on her seat post. Small point, but could be important for some, and could be fixed simply by supplying an additonal set of thicker gaskets to use if required. So in use they are easy to set up, the screen brightness is adjustable. I found that at the setting it comes with, bright sunshine made the image difficult to see, but raising the brightness number from 50 to 70 on the scale fixed that problem, though I imagine it may reduce battery time. This is a simple unit does what it says very well at a very reasonable price and I recomend them.

Used for my motorcycle. Very easy to install, clear view of road users behind. You still need a lifesaver and not get complacent. recommended.

UPDATE May 2024: In addition to the review I wrote (below) after purchasing this bike camera 8 months ago - I have to say that the customer service has been outstanding. I needed a new bracket for the camera and the Parkview team could not have been more helpful, courteous and speedy with the assistance they gave. 5 STAR customer service!!! This product is a must for safety! It gives superb vision for vehicles approaching from behind. Very sharp colour pictures and easy to install. I have already recommended it to colleagues who also cycle to work in London. The safety factor is also about seeing potential muggers approaching from behind which led me to buy this in the first place. I couple of guys wearing balaclavas came from behind on an electric bike to mug me of my Brompton. There was no way of seeing them first. This camera allows me to glance and look behind easily. FYI thanks to a brave passer by, the muggers were unsuccessful!

Very good quality product. Robust screen and strong clamps. Neither the screen nor camera wobble even off road. Very easy to fit to bike. Screen is very clear. You can change the brightness. Excellent in the dark, the images are very clear. Camera angle is good so it gives a good view of the road. I'm finally able to do right turns safely as I am confident that I can see everything much clearer than glancing over my shoulder. Highly recommend this product.

The assurance provided by this accessory, offering a clear view behind at all times and preempting overtaking vehicles, is truly commendable. Personally, I find it superior to radar systems or traditional wing mirrors. However, regrettably, after only six months of intermittent use, the display ceased charging adequately, and its operational duration is now limited to a mere 30 minutes before shutting down entirely. Consequently, this deficiency renders the product ineffective for commutes exceeding this duration. For individuals utilizing an E-Bike equipped with a USB power port for continuous charging, integrating this accessory undoubtedly enhances safety. Nevertheless, for those without such provisions, its advised to opt for a conventional mirror and conserve expenditure.

Op mijn elektrische fiets gemonteerd camera onder het zadel en beeld op mijn stuur. Ik beveel dit aan zeker voor ouderen die een beetje onzeker zijn op de fiets en moeite hebben met naar achteren te kijken. Koop ook het extra kunststof beugel erbij om het scherm te bevestigen aan het stuur dan heeft het wat ruimte. De accu gaan lang mee. Wil de fietscamera niet meer missen Had eerst spiegeltjes. die zijn te klein. Trillen. En staan altijd verkeerd. Gaan los op den duur. Dus geef papa of en mama een fiets camera cadeau. Ziekenhuis kost meer.

Acquistato per sostituire lo specchietto sulla Mtb che puntualmente con le vibrazioni si spostava. Con questa telecamera abbiamo risolto egregiamente il problema. Buona visione e regolazione in base alla luce solare. Direi pienamente soddisfatta tant'è che ne abbiamo acquistate altre 2. Super anche il venditore che ha inviato una mail per eventuale contatto in caso di qualsiasi problema avremmo riscontrato.

Qualité de l'image et de la caméra vraiment top top le câble es assez long que pour les faire passé a l'intérieur du deck de la trottinette ou même pour un vélo... petit point faible pour la fixation de la caméra en plastique qui est assez fine certe assez robuste que pour tenir la camera mais si jamais la trottinette le vélo ou l'objet sur le quelle elle sera placé viendrais à tombé alors la fixation casserait sûrement... du coup à faire attention à l'endroit où ou elle sera placé sinon fonction très bien à voir sur le long terme.

Überrascht bin ich von der Kamera. Einen Vergleich mit einem Spiegel sollte man dennoch nicht machen. Zwei zu unterschiedliche Syteme. Hier mal meine Eindrücke. Stabile Ausführung, leicht zu montieren und abzunehmen. Das 110° Objektiv gibt den gleichzeitigen Blick für die rechte & linke Seite frei, ohne viel Verzerrung und damit eine leichtere Einschätzung der Entfernung. Das Display ist klar und einstellbar. Natürlich kein hochwertiges Handydisplay und wie bei einem Handy auch bei hoher Sonneneinstrahlung schwerer zu erkennen. Das Bild ist flackerfrei. Das Gerät ist bei mir auf den Rahmen montiert (s.h. Foto, Herrenrad). Somit werden keine Vibrationen und ständige Blickänderung durch Lenkerbewegung erreicht. Laufzeit ca. 5 Std. Wer eine längere benötigt kann eine Powerbank anschließen, ein Parallelbetrieb ist möglich.
