Oral-B Smart 4 -4000W- Electric Toothbrush

Oral-SmartSeries 4000 3DWhite is a very good electric toothbrush. My teeth actually feel smoother on the surfaces than they do with my old electric brush or a manual brush. I like the light-up sensor that shows if you are brushing too hard - I didn't realise that I was! It is interesting to try the sensitive mode, but I prefer the surface polishing mode. It comes with two different brush heads, a 3D white and a CrossAction one. The CrossAction one seems to clean better. Even with the floss action, I prefer to still use normal dental floss, perhaps out of habit. The battery lasts well. Using it twice a day for over a week, it is still going strong. It is comfortable to hold, and fairly light in weight, as is the charger, so easy to pack for travelling. It is still a bit noisy if you are listening to radio, though! That seems to be the only thing that the manufacturers haven't managed to improve. Everything else seems better.As for the 'Bluetooth for White Teeth' as my granddaughter calls it, it is mainly novelty value, I think. I use it at night, but must confess I don't have time to use it in the mornings, and rely on the 30 second vibrations for moving on to the next quadrant, and the double vibration to signal the two minutes when brushing time is up. It would be great for children to use, though. They always love to be allowed to use a smartphone, and this is a fun app that allows parents to check if they have cleaned their teeth properly. I imagine it would be a big success if the marketing was aimed at children aged five or six years old upwards.For adults, though, I think I would prefer a cheaper price and no app, just the 30 second and two minute vibration timings.

I've been using this for a while now and it's a good toothbrush. This is my first and only electric but I'm glad with this purchase.I don't use the Bluetooth ever really, nor much of the other speeds, so maybe a basic one would have been just as good for me. Not had any problems with it - so yes good.The only thing is once the battery does fade, it is not replaceable so you throw the whole thing away. Which seems crazy and not green and a complete waste. Plus then become more expensive as one needs to buy another one.

There are 3 different settings- which are perfect and suitable for people with sensitive teeth.The brush is small and round,has a useful red light pressure sensor that indicates when you are brushing too hard, and vibrates every 30 seconds to notify you to brush another quadrant .Super functions expecially for children.I really like brush my teet this new Oral-B toothbrush.But there is something I do not likits battery life (just about 1 week when you brush twice daily) and long charging time.Overall Braun Oral B is very reliable, efficient and innovative toothbrush.Good product - does what it says.

The toothbrush looked great when it arrived and I could not wait to try it......unfortunately it didn't come with a uk plug so I had to wait for an adapter to arrive!I had plenty of time to unbox and download the app while I waited for the plug to arrive.The toothbrush came with two round brush heads- one crossaction and one sensitive (which is softer) also a handy stand to store and keep the brush upright and store spare heads.I charged the brush up overnight for about 12 hours before I turned it on (recommending in instructions but only needs 4/5 hours each time) and then connected it to the app via Bluetooth. I thought I wouldn't like this feature but have found it very easy and informative. I think this would appeal to anyone who loves apps or gadgets. The app gives you some great information on brushing and even counts down for you with the timer.You also get goals and trophies to encourage and improve cleaning.The Toothbrush can be used without the app if this isn't for you.The brush handle felt nice and light to hold. It is ergonomic and has three speed settings, the slowest being for a sensitive brush.The toothbrush was very fast but not too noisy! Every 30 seconds it vibrates to let you know to move from one quadrant to the next. I found the pressure sensor really good too this lights up if you brush too hard. I really feel my teeth are now cleaner and possibly even whiter!I highly recommend this toothbrush.One charge and the brush has lasted a whole week before needing another charge so the battery life is really good.My dentist was very impressed with how good and clean my teeth are now. I also save money and time by not having to see a dental hygienist. My teeth do feel very clean and smooth - I won't be switching back to a manual brush now.Pros- Lovely well built brush-Two heads-Stand to keep it all stored nicely-The Oral B app-Pressure sensor-Fast brush-Whitening-Great battery life-Selection of other heads available.Cons- Two pin plug- I can't go back to a manual brush now!
