I wouldn't recommend this for complete beginners but if you have basic sewing skills it's perfectly doable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely pattern even for a novice such as myself *by M***S on 7 October 2016* My mum passed away suddenly a couple of months ago & my sister is due her first baby any day now. Wanted to make a memory bear from her clothes for the baby. I haven't touched a sewing machine in 25 years but ordered this pattern & joined a class in order to help me! Pattern was well laid out & on nice thick plastic type paper (sorry not technical!) instructions were excellent. I chose not to add the hat & scarf but could easily add them to Teddy's wardrobe in future! Left off the tail too & joint the bear which was surprisingly easy & think it gives the bear a better finish but no way would it detract. Because it's intended for a small baby I have stitched eyes/nose & avoided adding buttons but instructions were clear & simple especially considering my learner status! Really pleased with results although I prob should have interfaced the purple fabric too to make him slightly more robust! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy and went together well *by M***N on 2 July 2024* Bought this to make a memory bear for a friend.
