I'm the bad guy
Ralph"I never wanted this at all!!". NPC "Congratulations Ralph now the penthouse is all yours everyone fled either that or a guaranteed death sentence when the game is unplugged enjoy the view while it lasts". Ralph "Why is it too much to ask to be the good guy just for once?! For one stinking day a day where no one hates me I'm the hero & I get a nice pie?! When is it Ralph's day to shine??". NPC "Look I never programmed the game take it with the creator"

A flick about togetherness and humbleness
So happy to play this and come across the unmistakeable voices of Sarah Silverman and Jane Lynch. Great performances. It's a classic story about finding happiness in an otherwise dull and drab existence. What's interesting is the way virtual games from different eras are brought together, bridging the age gap and helping viewers of all ages relate to the film. And the way game characters and their traits were used to fabricate an entire community of arcade games is fabulous. What I wasn't particularly impressed with was the dialogue. It didn't seem very original or inspiring. But my 6yo was wowed, for sure.

for all
Wreck-It Ralph is a 2012 American computer-animated family-comedy film[4] produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.[5] It is the 52nd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. The film was directed by Rich Moore, who has directed episodes of The Simpsons and Futurama, and the screenplay was written by Jennifer Lee and Phil Johnston from a story by Moore, Johnston and Jim Reardon. John Lasseter served as the executive producer. The film features the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, and Jane Lynch. A tribute to over 30 years of the gaming industry, the film tells the story of the eponymous arcade game villain who rebels against his role and dreams of becoming a hero. He travels between games in the arcade, and ultimately must eliminate a dire threat that could affect the entire arcade, and one that Ralph himself inadvertently started

Great film
My daughter watched this at the cinema with a friend when it was first out and came home raving about it, so I got the DVD for her.I have to say I am usually bored rigid in children's films and one has to be very entertaining for me to watch it all through. However, I really enjoyed this. There's nothing in it that I can see to worry or offend parents of younger children and yet there is a retro game theme running through it and plenty of humour to keep parents interested too. I really enjoyed the story and didn't drift off into boredom once. We watched it as a family and my husband enjoyed it too. Highly recommended.

5 stars.
A very creative film (kind of a spin on the Toy Story, idea) that will entertain the adults as well as children. Superbly done.
