This is a great book that is written and illustrated by the author. My first purchase in the series was Daniel Boone which turned out to be on a recommended list for home schoolers. I hope to be able to purchase the rest for our library.

Loved this book! It may appear short and sweet but packed with all kinds of information, illustrations, details, and a timeline of other events happening around the world during Teddies’ lifetime. Really enjoyed the casual/conversational writing style. It will be perfect for my American history students this fall.

Great book for a 5th grader to use for a non-fiction book report if they like history.

I ordered this book for my son as he needed it for a book report. The book is extremely interesting and focuses a lot on Teddy's adolescence. It was a little bit of a hard read for my third grader, not necessarily the words, but the content. He still managed to ace his book report, though. I would recommend this book, for sure.

A very interesting and and informative book about one of the giants in American history. We got it to inspire our grandson but wound up reading it ourselves also.

I like this series of books. If I had to name a problem with any of Cheryl Harness books is the suggestion in "about the author" that other authors aren't as careful about facts and illustrations as she is. Otherwise, these are great books. And if you love Teddy Roosevelt, like some people I know, it's another way to show what a great man he was.
