Not the best quality
It's pretty poor quality honestly. It's as well-made and sturdy as a dollar store checkers game, but twice the price because it's Mario. It looks great, it's just low quality. The board unfolded never lays totally flat, so sliding your pieces across the board is often disrupted. You also have to put Mario stickers on the pieces yourself. The box it comes in is also pretty low quality. It's very thin and easy to damage. Mine came already damaged for me (thanks Amazon).If you want this for the Nintendo and Mario novelty, go for it. If you want this to actually play checkers, just get a regular set of comparable price and you'll have a much better product.
