It is lightly and pleasantly fragranced and very easy to apply - a pea sized blob will cover the face no problem.Upon application after shaving there is an immediate and noticeable cooling effect - not one of those 'take you breath away' feelings - which feels just right. Any mild residual redness (assuming you haven't cut yourself to shreds) disappears within a few minutes.I use DE razors and this has now become an essential piece of the kit! I bought some Arko shaving soap and loved that so I thought I would give this a go. It's an excellent balm cools the skin quickly no noticeable smell so don't stop you using your aftershave. I've tried the likes of Gillette, L'Oreal etc...but nothing compares to this Arko brand, for me it's simply fantastic. I saw it on Amazon and I thought I'd try it as it was on sale for £1. I tried it after a shave and I was blown away. It's a lovely consistency and it's transformed my skin. It's beautiful. It has a lovely scent to it that lasts a long time. I won't be buying anything else from now on. I would highly recommend you try it. I cannot believe even at full price that it's only around £2.50/£3.
