Epson 604 Pineapple, Genuine Multipack, Eco-Friendly Packaging, 4-Colours Ink Cartridges

Epson makes great inks. In the past I have used "other" inks and have been disappointed with the results. I don't print very often so for me it is important that the ink does not dry on the printhead. When used in accordance with Epson's instructions for both ink and printer then these inks will not dry on the printhead, even if you only print the occasional page once a month or so.

I've been using Epson printer ink for quite some time, and it has its pros and cons. On the positive side, the print quality is generally excellent. The colors are vibrant, and text is sharp, making it perfect for both documents and photos. Another advantage is the wide range of ink options available to suit various printing needs. Whether you require standard black ink for text documents or specialized color cartridges for high-quality photo printing, Epson offers a comprehensive selection. However, one drawback I've encountered is the cost. Epson ink cartridges tend to be on the pricier side compared to some third-party alternatives. This can add up over time, especially if you print frequently. Furthermore, while Epson inks are known for their quality, they can sometimes clog the printhead if the printer is left unused for an extended period. This issue can result in wasted ink and frustrating maintenance. In conclusion, Epson printer ink offers excellent print quality and a wide range of options but may be a bit costly compared to other alternatives. If print quality is your top priority and you're willing to invest, it's a solid choice. However, if you're looking for more budget-friendly options, you might explore third-party ink cartridges, keeping in mind that they might not match Epson's quality consistently.

Good but expensive

Pros: Definitely the original product, in original packaging. Was delivered as an urgent order the same day, which saved my skin — or so I thought ... Cons: Pretty much everything you need printer cartridges to do — as in provide ink! Ink levels appeared as some way off full when the cartridges were newly inserted and the ink had 'charged' overnight (photo before printing), and then the black ran out after printing six pages of text (second photo of supply levels). Upshot: I was prepping for an interview, so could have done without the irritation — or what works out as a cost of £5.06 per page! — and have thus sent the lot back and am awaiting a refund. Message to Epson: please do better!
