Overwatch Collector's Edition (PC)

Overwatch is a great game, there isn't really much I can say that people haven't already so i'll just talk about the collectors edition.This collectors edition is great, I've bought many different collectors editions for loads of different games in my lifetime but I have never bought a Blizzard one prior to this so i didn't really know what to expect, but I can happily say I was blown away by it. If you like good packaging then this collectors edition is for you, the box alone is probably the best I have seen for any game its like opening an apple or razer product, everything is so nicely laid out and the box even opens on a hinge. The images on the box and print are also a nice touch that give it more visual appeal.I'll jump right in to the best parts of the collectors edition first,The statue looks amazing, the sculpt and paint job is so well done and the base is heavy so the statue won't move. The connection on the feet of soldier 76 feel a little bit wobbly or loose but they aren't as I have picked the statue up without holding the base and it has been fine every time.The artbook is fantastic it has some really nice behind the scenes sort of making of parts with (obviously) a lot of artwork. The book itself is a really nice hard book with the artwork on it mimicking the collectors edition box, the book has a plastic slip cover over it that is secured in the box by a Velcro strap.The steel book is nice with tracer on one side and reaper on the other (one side being black and the other in white). Postcards are a nice addition with some cool artwork of some levels on them, and finally the CD has lucio on it (pretending it is his album) includes the games soundtrack.It also includes some skins and other ingame items for blizzards other games (which you get with the origin edition). This is probably my favourite collectors edition that I own so far and I would recommend it to any collectors out there.

A very solid collector's edition. The statue, for what you pay, has an amazing level of detail. It isn't painted as you can see in the image, but I can imagine that some more enthusiastic artists out there would be able to touch it up no problem.Overwatch, however, is quite a shallow video game in itself. The content is highly polished, but as the saying goes... as large as an ocean, as deep as a puddle. It's easy to get bored of this game since it gets very repetitive. Especially if you're not super competitive.

The products weight aside (the packaging is real heavy) the collector's edition is great. The detail on the model is excellent and i like the fact that they gave it a monochrome look, akin to a statue. Of particular note is the book included, which, unlike most art books isn't as much a art book as it a book with a comprehensive background on the story behind the game and the characters, considering this isn't directly included in the game its actually worth a read (some of this information can be found on the website however). I haven't really heard the soundtrack yet so cant judge it and the postcards and digital content is a novelty. It is still worth a buy if you are an overwatch fan and they aren't all sold out already.

You will get addicted, discover mental issues you never knew you had, be insulted every 5 minutes, curse like a sailor and quite possible cause physical harm to objects or living beings within your vicinity during play.10/10 definitely recommend.

My son is one very happy boy, this is an amazing collection of things and comes well packaged. I can't comment on the game as it isn't me playing it, but do I think it is value for money, absolutely

Bought this because I like collecting gaming products, well worth the money if your a collector

Amazing collector's edition it was everything I wanted and more for a reasonable price! Soldier statue especially was a lot bigger and better than I expected.
