We had a little trouble with buying similar products on here before so I wasn’t expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised! Great doorbell, easy to set up, sound is more than loud enough for us, and looks great. We have a two-story, five-bed house. We have one receiver in the kitchen at the back of the house downstairs, and one in the hallway upstairs towards the front of the property. Wherever you are in the house, you can hear it, even in parts of the garden. So far it has worked every time someone has pressed it, and both receivers go off simultaneously. It hasn’t gone off by itself and seems to be working great. The double-sided sticky that comes with it seems to be holding to the front door very well, but it also comes with a small screw attachment if that’s more suitable to you. I’m not sure if it is waterproof as our front door is sheltered, so that’s not a concern for us. Great quality for the price and so glad we bought it as we often missed people knocking when we didn’t have a bell. Some people just get a little unlucky and receive a faulty one from time to time, or a resell from returned items, and that’s happened to us in the past, so I understand the odd bad reviews. But my experience is that returns are quick and simple on here, so don’t let that put you off buying. Just check return policies before ordering just in case.

Excellent doorbell. No setting up - just plug it in and it works !! With 2 receivers and a loud ring it can be heard almost everywhere in the house, and you can move the receivers about if needed. Not tried all the tunes but bing bong is good.

A decent product that couldn’t be any easier to set up - stick the bell to the door frame using the tape, plug in the receivers and that’s it. The default sound was perfectly fine. Knocked off a star because the width of the receivers take up a lot of socket space, making it slightly awkward - if you plug this into an extension chord it’ll take up two spaces. But it’ll be fine with double wall sockets.

Great bit of kit, seems robust. Easy to set up and loads of chimes.

My old doorbell broke so I sent for this new one. As I had occasionally not heard my old door bell I sent for this Tecknet door Bell with two chime boxes, which plug into a mains outlet so don't need batteries. The second Chime is a really good idea. I mainly use it in my bedroom when on my computer and it has come in useful there. I have also plugged it into the garden shed whilst gardening and it works there too. The door Bell and chimes are very good build quality and all you need to fit the bell is provided in the box so you don't need to buy anything else to fit the bell. There are lots of music settings for the chimes and three volume levels as well as a mute. The doorbell lights up when pressed so the visitor knows the bell is operational and the chimes also light up when the bell is pressed so you can still use the chimes when muted. I chose this bell and chimes because of the number of good reviews and, as they are so good I am adding my own review.

Both receivers working fine, with a decibel sound fit for the hard of hearing. Also the number of tunes is indispensable. Very easy to install & operate.

Easy to install, a selection of ring tones with a chime to fit by the door & another where you want it. Very good item would recommend

Had this for 4 years & 10 months; what is noticeable now is the inability of the alarm sounders to connect. Before they have been working fine but as time has gone on, the one furthest from the doorbell doesn't ring any more. If it is relocated to another point closer to the button, it will work. Id put this down to degradation of electrical components. Nothing lasts forever. As a doorbell, it is OK; the chime selection is a selection of predominantly cheesy musical melodies seemingly bashed out on a cheap battery operated keyboard, but there are a couple of palatable ringtones that don't induce purchase regret. It could be a bit louder though.
