Tried loads of hair products over the years yet this one is the best I’ve had, will buy again

Best hair product for my type of hair I've found so far.I have short (an inch), thick, black hair that usually requires a lot of product to tame it. I don't go in for extreme spikes (try the pink gasby for that style) or anything but I like to be able to rework my hair and have it choppy. My old favorite hair product was crew fiber however I find with fiber the hold does not last the full day. This stuff lasts. Its a bit like VO5 matt clay (and like matt clay there is no real smell to speak of) but I find this stuff to be much more workable and less clumpy, and I can restyle my hair all day and it just holds. Its a bit expensive but then it is shipped from Japan (i think).Anyway, if it sounds like you have similar hair to mine and like the other two mentioned products in my review, this stuff is worth a trial run.

I've used gatsby matt for a few years now, once I found that amazon sold this item i was really pleased as previous supplier took a lot longer to deliver,About the product itself, its best used on medium hair length in my opinion, there's definitely no shine and you can restyle your hair as many times as needed, a little does go a long way, and you do have to be a little patient in applying the product in small amounts to get the right effect,It has a pleasant smell to it and i find it easy to wash out, very highly recommended

A good product.The texture of the wax itself is very good, its not too thick and applies very well. Should apply to dry hair with a small amount in between two hands - it offers a matte look and a strong hold. It also lasts a fair time as I've been using it near daily for 2 months and I'll still be using it for the next 2 I reckon!It also has an apple scent. Which is nice, isn't it?

I'm totally in love with this hair wax. i wouldn't really call it wax as it has a very soft like feel to it. i have medium length hair and this gives me the perfect hold without looking like I've tried too hard and gives my hair a soft feel. it also smells very nice.i recently cut my hair a little shorted and this is still perfect.i normally use daviness or hair bond products but now I've got Gat, i won't be going back.

been using this for years now. amazing product. doesnt feel sticky and washed out easily. gives a good hold but allows you to move you hair if you wish without it getting all flakey and gunky.

Much less styling power than I thought. It does the job of texturizing, but has no hold at all!Fair purchase but not as good as Gatsby pink or green.
