This book has 52 object lessons that are simple and use everyday objects that are easy to find. I am excited to begin using these with my elementary age children's class. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a weekly class.

This book is everything I've been looking for! I teach a Sunday School class of kids ages 2-10. The lessons in this book are wonderful and very adaptable for different ages! I love lessons that contain something visual or hands-on, because the kids seem to comprehend lessons better that way. I absolutely LOVE this book! I'm so happy to have run on to it! This is an excellent book for my purpose. I have a Sunday School class as well as do council time for AWANA. Using these object lessons have been a big help! ! ! Each lesson is different and each should capture and keep young people attentive for 10 - 15 minutes. It was a used book as noted and has notes from previous owner - that doesn't bother me one bit. Can always use someone else's point of view! THANKS!

Many of the objects in these are impossible to utilize during a typical Sunday service. A large-capacity coffee maker with a faucet? a large onion, knife, and plate? can of corn (that you'll need to open)? These are all direct descriptions from the book. Some could be used in a sanctuary, but others could not.Also, if you're from a denomination that focuses on God's grace vs the danger of following Satan, some of these will not be usable for you either.

Love this book . Think about it why do you remember stories or jokes or illustrations ? Why did Jesus use them all the time ? Well honestly it's so people get what your trying to say, and " remember" it . This is a kids book but I use it in my sermons shhhhh don't tell : )

I would recommend this book highly to anyone working in children' ministry. The objects are all things easily attainable and the lessons short but very clear. It would be easy for anyone to use, even if they have not previously used this type of material. I would definitely buy this again.
