Great T.V. - Outstanding Customer Service
When I ordered my Free Signal T.V. from Amazon the box arrived damaged, but the T.V. appeared okay. Unfortunately after unpacking it and plugging it in - it did not work. I reached out directly to Free Signal. This being a weekend, I did not expect to hear from them until the following week. Within 2-hours they wrote me back and offered to send me a replacement T.V. and they would exchange my broken one. They shipped me a replacement T.V. via Fed-Ex and it arrived a few days later. The replacement T.V. is outstanding! It works flawlessly in my Travel Trailer on 12-volt. The sound is outstanding, picture quality is very good, and the all the features that this T.V. offers are really impressive. I have just started to go thru all the features it offers - but I can tell you that this T.V. is definitely worth the price. It's easy to use and navigate, easy to set-up and the quality is very good. If all these weren't a reason to buy this T.V., take it from me - their customer service is outstanding. I'm just a normal customer like anyone else on here that was trying to find a T.V. that would work for us during our family camping trips. I don't typically write reviews, but after the experience I had with Free Signal and how they took care of this issue, I thought others should know of my experience. Buy this T.V. - you will be happy, but if for any reason you are not - you have a company that will back you 100%. That alone is reason enough to make the purchase.

Platunum Rubbish
The TV fits nicely in my space. Otherwise, the picture quality is okay, the sound is aweful, like an echo chamber. The wifi and bluetooth are good. The DVD player doesn't read any of my DVD's. I checked everyone and they read fine in my Home DVD player. BTW, this is not Blueray compatible either. You'd think that a new model would be compatible with today's standards. Very frustrating for the cost.

Excellent customer service!!!
I wanted to write a review on the excellent customer service and the excellent quality of the product. I ordered my TV and never got around to installing it onto a swinging bracket until a little over a month after receiving it. After installing it I noticed the volume was very intermittent and if I pressed in on the back of the TV the volume would come on and off which to me seemed like a loose wire or connection inside the TV. I contacted the company and they had me check a few things before determining that it was indeed a issue internally and defective. They immediately sent me out a new TV and a shipping label to return the old one. The new TV got installed a few days after receiving it and works excellent, no issues. The TV picture is excellent, the sound is excellent and all tbe extra features are great! I highly recommend this seller and there products. They are a stand up responsive company that backs there product. Thank you

Pretty amazing TV
Picture is GORGEOUS and SUPER BRIGHT. Fast processor i got it linked with wifi, netflix, amazon and tested the dvd feature all in under 5 minutes. Very impressed. It gets a 10/10 in all regards except one thing. The audio out of the tv is poor at best. It bluetooths to my van speakers or an external sound bar so in the end, being thr worlds only smart tv dvd combo at 22” and for how bright and fast it is. Im totally okay with the $390 price tag. I havent been this impressed with a device in years. We will be the only van driving around with netflix where we live, for sure. I had never heard of this company until last week. If yer on the fence about this tv, dont be, it truly is badass. EDIT TWO WEEKS LATER: The dvd player wont eject the disc at all I got a copy of Milo&Otis stuck in there for good. I got a bluray player for the vehicle so its not worth sending back and dealing with no tv for however long. But yeah. Poor sound and the dvd eject function doesnt work. STILL THE BEST SMART TV AT THIS SIZE HANDS DOWN. Despite the other issues.

Pairs easily with earbuds - 12v DC
I am going to review the new TV and earbuds I purchased together. The TV is a Free Signal TV New transit Platinum Series 28”, 12v DC and Baseus Wireless Earbuds, Bowie MA10. My wife likes to watch/listen to TV after I go to bed in our travel trailer. I needed a 12v Bluetooth TV so that I could pair earbuds. This combination exceeded my expectations!!! The TV was easy to put on the existing mounting arm and connect to the 12v dc power, coaxial cable, and HDMI cable. The TV scanned the over the air channels quickly. Picture and sound were great. I put the TV in Bluetooth scan mode and removed the earbuds from their charging pod. The TV found the earbuds and paired quickly. As soon as they were pared, the sound on the TV turned off and the earbud sound turned on. When I put the earbuds in their charging pod, the TV sound came back on!!! Using just one earbud worked. You can then leave the other to charge. No more manually turning off the TV sound and connecting the earbuds. The TV remote controls the sound level on the earbuds. This combination far exceeds my expectations.

Great for camping
The TV works well. It found channels from about 100 miles away even when camping in the forest but were at the top of a mountain. The sound for the TV is pretty good but not as good for the DVD. It was simple to set up but took a little trial and error to get the options figured out. Happy with it. They did say they have a sound bar on their website but I'm not ready to spend another $100. Will try it out on another trip at a lower elevation. Update 5/30/25 I have had this tv less than a year and not it won't find channels automatically. I have tried to call the telephone number I was given for support. The number to press for tech support goes to sales and you have to leave a message but the voice mail is full. I finally found a way to send an email for help. We use this in our rv and are getting ready to go on a trip. No one to help???? What great support.

Ignore the negative reviews and buy this product!
My husband and I have enjoyed using both the original 28" Transit 12V TV we acquired through a friend several years ago as well as our new Transit 32" Platinum Smart TV w/DVD player and Bluetooth. There aren't many true DC powered high resolution TVs available that are designed for the challenging environment of RV/mobile use. We spent quite a bit of time researching available 12V mobile TVs for our vacation trips and settled on the Transit series and the product has not disappointed. The reviews we read for overheated power cords and faulty screens are without a doubt the result of incorrect voltage to the units and poor connectivity. My husband repairs electronics as a side job and can tell you the Transit TV lines are top quality. They operate on 12V DC power with a minimum of 5 amps to run properly (but also include a 110V power adapter). The detailed owner's manual written in plain english cautions about overpowering the units and improperly wiring them into circuits that are not designed to run 12V equipment. As many of the reviews state - the customer service is excellent from Free Signal TV. We have also used several of their OTA digital TV antennas (Marathon Plus and Marathon Metro) and questions about installation were promptly answered and spare components readily sent to us when requested. It's difficult these days to find a US company that stands behind their products and also provides excellent customer service. So ignore the negative reviews citing failed screens and power cords overheating and buy this product. If there ever is an issue the Transit TVs carry a one-year no questions asked, free replacement warranty. To me, that's peace of mind that makes the investment in a Transit TV well worth the money.

VERY disappointed
Very disappointed in this tv. I was looking for a 12 volt tv for my liveaboard boat. I bought this to replace a 27" tv, of a different brand, that had horrible speakers and unlistenable sound. When I opened this one up, it was the same tv! Different name on the front, different software, but the same case, connections, everything! And, like the previous one, the speakers and sound were terrible, even with an equalizer and various sound settings it sounded tinny and was actually extremely aggravating to the ear. And, it wasn't a 28" as described, but a 27". To get around the horrible sound, I tried connecting to my Bluetooth speakers. Very spotty connection - sometimes it wouldnt connect at all - and if I was standing beteeen the tv and the speaker, which was only 8 feet away, the signal was totally blocked. I'd never had that problem with any Bluetooth device I've ever had. Obviously, this tv has an extremely weak Bluetooth signal. Checking the company's store, they claim to be an American company, but the tv was made in China. At around $500, this tv was a disaster. I wound up buying an LG tv for $200, and a 12volt to 19volt converter for $20 and have a great picture with great sound, and excellent software with many more features!
