iPhone 5S LCD Touch Screen Digitizer Replacement. Full Assembly with Tool Kit. Black

Phone worked fine. Smashed screen. Bought this screen. Changed the screen. Phone powered up but hung on Apple logo. All online solutions failed to resolve. I took the phone to Apple, they offered to repair it (send it to Apple and probably get an exact same refurbished one back) for about £320 or to sell me a iPhone SE (iPhone 5 with iPhone 6S internals) for about £350. I took it to a phone repair shop and he assessed the battery was bad and agreed to take it apart and see if a new battery fixed the problem. I didn't think it was the battery as it was fine before I changed the screen. 20 minutes later, he confirmed the battery was good but the screen was not good. He provided a new screen and charged me about £90. It now works fine. So! It is possible that the screen I bought here was not good. Just a heads-up.

Be aware of buying this screen!iPhone 5s is not compatible with it. After replacing the screen, phone software did not recognise it and phone became useless.How do I know that it was a screen fault? - fitted back old, cracked screen, and everything was working fine (done it twice, to make sure).

Touchscreen just doesn't work. Press one place and it will register it somewhere else. Or it will press buttons all on its own. Makes using the phone a bit of a nightmare. Also the colours just aren't as vivid as the original screen at all. Regret buying, suggest that you don't.Contacted seller but have to return the screen to amazon for a replacement. Difficult to do that when that would leave you without a phone at all.

Phantom finger issue, any moisture on the screen and it is unusable, white spot in middle of the screen, mutes calls with phone to face, general image quality reflective of price. I have used a non OEM replacement screens before without issue, this has lots of issues.

Very well packaged and screen works just as well as the original took me 10 mins to fit in with the tools provided. However, the original 5s Touch ID home button does not fit flush with the glass which is my only criticism however doesn't matter too much.

The screen was easy to fit but did not work and by the time I fitted it and worked out that it was the screen not working than my installation it was too late to return. Got it repaired at local repair shop that proved it was the screen and not me. Would not recommend.

DO NOT BUY!!Bought this and it does nothing but show a BLACK screen. Awful Product Would never buy from them again!!

White light in the bottom corners. Way too sensitive. Switches on loudspeaker or mute in a call when the screen touches your face. Complete waste of money.
