Rustins MPWH250 250ml Quick Dry Metal Paint - White

I bought this for doing lettering on old iron crosses in the cemetery. First we painted them white with the white version of this paint and left plenty of time to dry. Next, we touched up the lettering with this paint - using a sponge to dab it on to the letters (which stand proud of the background). This gave an excellent finish. We gave it two coats for good measure and the crosses look absolutely fantastic. I was very nervous about doing this but suing the sponge dabbinng method it worked really well. We simply used a make-up sponge (foundation sponge). This is a good method for using on any lettering that stands proud of the background.

Liked everything about it, very little prep needed to area before applying, fast drying. Paint brush washed out with warm soapy water.

Very just what I needed

Repainted my railings with this great paint. Unlike the Hammerite paint I used previously, which was like working with treacle, this went on silky smooth. It's easy to work with, dries quickly (but not too quickly), can be recoated within an hour or so and has a great satin sheen rather than full gloss. The railings feel much nicer to the touch now too.Some reviews mention that it's thin or runny, but I found the consistency to be just right as you don't need to load your brush too much and a little goes a long way. I'd certainly rather have this than the thicker viscosity paint that I'd previously used. It took two coats over bare metal and one over previous paint (which I just scuff sanded to key the surface). But as it dried quickly I got it all done in half a day anyway.

This definitely does the job but took multiple coats. Need to make sure you position well for drying as it will drip. Does end up leaving a half decent finish at the end

price is bit expenssive. but, goodone. I paint my radiators & out door balcony rods. ( good for metal)- Highly recommended.

Good job for the plastic covering it or I would have had a mess on my hands. Not really happy as will have to deal with it when I open it up but maybe manufacturers should think about a little more protection when shipping paint cans.

Compré el bote más pequeñito pensando que al final, me iba a faltar y para nada...! La pintura se extiende perfectamente y cubre muy bien los metales. Cunde muchísimo y aunque parece bastante líquida después se adhiere muy bien y es densa sobre la superficie. Use una brocha normal de las baratitas y no tuve ningún problema a la hora extender la pintura o de que surgieran después algunas imperfecciones.Sin duda si necesito otra vez pintura para cualquier metal, volvería a comprar está marca, ya que me ha sorprendido gratamente el resultado.Pinté la barandilla y unas piezas metálicas del pasamano. en mi caso aunque cubrí colores como verde y gris no tuve que darle una doble mano ya que con la primera capa quedó perfecto.Todavía me queda casi medio bote 😉
