Didn’t fit perfect but you can’t expect it to. Every rotomold is unique. Great product just make sure you heat it to shape first

You’re paying for a small study piece of plastic, but it’s easy to install and looks clean. It takes abuse well and that’s what you’re paying for. Obviously you’ve made an investment on your kayak and it is only reasonable to protect it as well as possible. This protects one one portion of the kayak that is always touching the group when loading and unloading. It will also surely protect against and sudden objects in the water.

Bought for the hobie Outback, it fits a little bit loose, and costs too much for what it is. Unfortunately there aren’t any alternatives on the market.

Since Wilderness Systems discontinued the Ride X115, I had to really shop around. Settled on this b|c of the good reviews; but still had to use a heat gun to soften it up for a snug form fit 😉 Also used Amazing Goop B|C it provided a flexible adhesive versus the harder Epoxy

I’m quite disappointed by this based on the price point. It came highly recommended. It does not fit my hobie well at all. This was the specific model for my kayak. It is supposed to be custom made for my model. I spent over an hour trying to heat it up, add adhesive and get it to fit snuggly. Which should not even be required for a specially formed protection for a specific model. It also comes with no specific adhesive. Because it fit so poorly I could not get it to adhere with marine adhesive alone as it would pull away. I had to try to heat it, add tape and additional adhesive as I went. I would have been better off with the gator hull tape or something similiar. I do not recommend this product.
