Tasty Belgian chocolates, perfect for gift
These assorted chocolates were delicious and the recipient was happy with them. The packaging was pretty with an outer layer of wrapping paper and ribbons. Perfect for gifting. The box itself was a simple paper card box filled with chocolates inside, with greaseproof tissue paper as dividers between the upper and lower layers of chocolates, no extra unnecessary plastic. PS Belgian chocolates can be too sweet to someone’s taste.

Delicious and some very unique recipes - but pricey.
The variety in this box is quite impressive. Not only are there multiple different recipe types, but also multiple variations on each of those recipe types. A coffee praline for example would be enrobed in white, a milk and a dark chocolate leaving you to make your own mind up about which you think works best. Many of the recipes are fairly well trodden and familiar, in that they are well copied and reproduced by others. Here, even familiar recipes are well made, with good flavour balance, texture and snap. Some recipes however were truly new to mel I'll name the triangular pralines (e.g. caprice and tentation) as prime examples. Their combination of shaped nougatine, filled with cremes and/or pastes, then enrobed in chocolate is utterly delicious. I simply wish the box had more of then. This is a special box and worthy for savouring, or for gifting. Sadly its also fairly expensive and its price to quality ratio pits against it as you can get better chocolates for the price. Would I buy again however? Sure

C'est magnifique!
C'est magnifique! I ordered these because I saw that Godiva chocolates are made in Turkey! These are actually made in Belgium! en Belgique! They melt in your mouth and are so fresh tasting! Bet you can't eat more than one though at one time!

Very short shelf life
I absolutely love Neuhaus chocolates. I have bought Neuhaus many times in Belgium and compared to some really great alternatives I still think they are the best in the world. However I ordered these in mid October 2018 to give as a Christmas present. Only noticed after the return date expired that the Best Before date was mid November. Either they have a ridiculously short shelf life or I was sent a box that was very near its expiry date. Either way check the date as they are way too expensive to throw in the bin.

Arrived in poor condition. Would never buy it to give it as a present to someone else.
These chocolates are great chocolates but unfortunately the storing/courier condition of some of the amazon sellers aren't great.I've bought them at a discount price of £29.80 thinking they woild have a very short expiry date but the expiry date was end of June, so perfectly normql for this type of chocolates. The problem was their appearance. I've placed this order after a few days of hot weather. It looks like those chocolates were exposed to those high temperatures as they were very soft and some had completely lost their shape. Most of them tasted good, but the last row was completely smashed and I couldn't even identify the chocolates.A few weeks before this order I've bought the smaller box and it was ok. Only a few of the chocolates were a bit melted. It's ok if you're a big fan of the chocolates and can't get to the shop. I would never buy them in here to give it as a present and it's impossible to know how were they stored and if they are in a decent condition.

Good taste
Good taste but I recommend to order it in winter. In order to not have melted chocolate

Poor quality
I've bought Neuhaus chocolates before but these were not good. Some chocolates had bloomed and were broken. Not what you expect from this brand, especially given the price. Disappointing
