Tori Amos

I bought this book because I wanted to learn more about this great artiste.I got good information about the period of her earlier recordings & an insight into her personality & instinctive musical style.It is not light reading because much of the language for each of the albums reviewed followed a similar theme but all in all it was worth having it & I have subsequently sent it to my son who is also a fan of Tori.

Love Tori so much, so this book was a good read - if you buy every Tori thing going (like me) then buy this!

Bought this for my friend as a xmas present as I discovered it was one she didn't have! It was much appreciated!

Its a good holiday read, Lots about family issues and less about the actual song writing process than I was expecting.Some sections concerning inspiration were fascinating and how Tori Amos's music has evolved in style and largely returned back to its piano roots. If you are a fan of the artist and her music then it's a must. If you are looking for her secrets to song writing you may feel somewhat disappointed.
