TOTAL RUBBISH!
I fitted this unit with brand new batteries and it operated okay first time I used it out-of-the-box. Second time out-of-the-box, it malfunctioned and the temperature readings were stuck, it still had the plastic on and the thing was useless! The 70m range is a myth, try about 3m or 4m line-of-sight. The LED is atrocious you have to hold it straight on to read it. I took a chance on this as there were no reviews, wish I hadn't bothered - sent it back for a refund.
