Highly recommend with the investment
I was worried about spending the extra cash to buy this version but I am extremely satisfied with this investment. I'd rather spend the cash on this portable high quality Projector than have 2 TVs of equal value. Even with my lights on the quality is really good. I can make out the images without issue. I took a video but the video that shows with my lights off, then dimmed, then on completely but the video doesn't do it justice. The sound quality is amazing as well. I highly recommend

Not bright enough
I recently purchased the Nebula Anker Capsule 3 Laser 1080p mini projector and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, the projector is incredibly portable and easy to use. The built-in battery is a great feature, and I was able to get up to 2.5 hours of playtime on a single charge, which is impressive for such a small device. The projector's autofocus feature is also a great addition, as it eliminates the need to manually adjust the focus, which can be a hassle. The picture quality is also decent, with crisp and clear visuals, and the Dolby Digital sound system adds to the overall viewing experience. However, there are a few downsides to the Nebula Anker Capsule 3 Laser 1080p projector. Firstly, the Wi-Fi connectivity can be a bit finicky, and I found that it sometimes took longer than expected to connect to my network. Additionally, the 120-inch picture advertised is only achievable in a dark room, and the brightness is not sufficient for well-lit rooms. Finally, although the projector claims to support 4K content, the picture quality was not as impressive as I had hoped. It was decent, but not as sharp as other 4K projectors on the market. Overall, I would recommend the Nebula Anker Capsule 3 Laser 1080p projector for those who are looking for a highly portable and easy-to-use mini projector with decent picture and sound quality. However, if you are looking for a projector that can handle bright rooms or deliver top-notch 4K content, this may not be the best option.

NEBULA Capsule 3 Laser: Cinema in Your Pocket :)
NEBULA Capsule 3 Laser: Cinema in Your Pocket :) I, too, fell victim to the siren song of positive reviews. This mini Anker projector promised big-screen magic, and let me tell you, it delivers. My mind was officially blown the moment I held this thing. It's smaller than a soda can, but packs a punch that's anything but mini. Setting up was a breeze, thanks to the autofocus and auto keystone correction. No fiddling with dials, just instant cinematic bliss. The built-in apps are a bonus, though I admit I'm a sucker for the classics – Netflix and YouTube all night long. Speaking of picture, I was floored by the sharpness and brightness. My pitch-black bedroom became a mini movie theater, and even in less-than-ideal lighting, the 1080p resolution held its own. Sure, purists might crave an optical zoom, but for me, this digital one does the trick. But this Capsule is more than just a projector. It's a travel-sized party waiting to happen. The Bluetooth speaker pumps out surprisingly loud, crisp audio, turning any hotel room into a dance floor. It's not my primary speaker, but for impromptu jam sessions, it's a total win. Is it perfect? Not quite. The battery life, while decent, could be longer. And sometimes, the Android interface feels a tad sluggish. But for its size and price, these are minor quibbles. Overall, the NEBULA Capsule 3 Laser is a game-changer. It's a portable powerhouse that lets you take your entertainment anywhere. Whether you're craving a backyard movie night or a spontaneous rooftop party, this little projector has you covered. In a world of bulky electronics, this is a pocket-sized marvel. Highly recommended! P.S. Anker, if you're listening, a carrying case would be the icing on the cake! Bonus points: Laser technology means no bulb replacements, ever! Sleek and stylish design that looks as good as it performs. Perfect for travel, camping, or even impromptu presentations. Final verdict: 5 out of 5 stars (with a bonus star for sheer portability!)

Worst for laser protectors
The picture is alright if the projector is really close and u don’t mind the small screen size. The farther away the screen is, the more noticeable the pixels get which is very annoying when u want to watch a bigger picture. It doesn’t make a difference if the room is pitch black. But this isn’t the reason for the horrendous review, the reason for this review is expect to baby the hell out of this projector. It might seem like a small and mighty projector until u drop it once. I dropped mine once and after a few days the fan to cool the projector decided it wasn’t good enough to keep up with the heat of the laser and would power down after 3 minutes of the projector being on. Keep in mind that I haven’t even owned the thing for even a month. And on top of that, the projector isn’t one bit friendly to repair and the fan is sandwiched between the top and bottom. So overall my projector overhead, I tried to fix it, I realized halfway through the tear down that it wasn’t possible, on the way to put it back together, i bricked the thing. I should’ve just sent the dumb thing back and got a refund. So if ur buying, BUY WITH A WARRANTY. Other things like laggy ui is a thing as well. All together, this laser is not worth the money, there r better projectors on the market that r not only repair friendly but offer better ui and similar if not better picture quality in a compact and easy to carry format. I wouldn’t mind if the price was way cheaper. I might look for a used one in the future, but have ordered something else that’s way better, so who knows.

I love this potent little projector.
Brighter than something this small has a right to be. Amazingly, its speakers are so good you could use it as a portable Bluetooth speaker just for music! Of course, their size can only do so much, so external speakers is still recommended for movie-watching — and is a simple and intuitive process. Same with connecting AirPods etc. The best feature has to be the autofocus. No matter the angle or distance, the projector’s calibration camera notices when the display is out of focus and fixes it automatically. You can then fine-tune if needed, but I’ve rarely had to. I am glad I got the version with built-in Google TV. The user interface is simple and intuitive, with good integrated speech commands from the remote. One single quibble: The remote is often laggy. Not unusably so — just enough to occasionally double-tap from thinking the first press wasn’t hard enough. Gets less noticeable once you’re used to it; I almost forgot to include it in this review, so it must not be a deal-breaker. I’ve only sampled a handful of portable projectors, but between that and my frankly excessive cross-comparison of specs of different models — I’d guess this is the best projector of its size and price point. I have not once regretted my purchase.

Don't cheap out. Buy it.....
So far, its been the best projector I've experience. Its not cheap, but it's well worth the money if you want a quality projector. This is coming from someone who normally doesn't write reviews with the exception of if the product is either REALLY BAD or REALLY GOOD. It this case the product is really good. It gets my stamp of approval!

Poor in anything but AC power and total darkness
Poor brightness, expensive for what you get, getting video without wifi to it is a pain - SD support for the google tv is wonky, battery life on anything but so dim why did I buy this... Some good features like size, portability, auto keystone, decent sound for the footprint.

Close to perfect.
Excellent, but not having an optical zoom is a disappointment.

Had this for almost a year, still love it.
This was the projector I was looking for. DLP is the only way to go and laser with a light source. It's also insanely portable and I got the 360 swivel tilting stand which I highly recommend for easy setup from any spot. I really wanted a projector that could actually handle games at 60fps and do keystone at the same time. This one does. I have no lag issues, plus you can set it up in extreme game mode without keystone to get it to the 20ms or whatever but I don't think it would make a difference compared to the easy setup unless you plan on some competitive bs. Great picture quality, however, it's definitely a very low light or night projector. I don't use over 50% brightness on a 100 inch (silver) screen in total darkness and find 100% too much. The Google TV works great, you just have to be a bit patient since that is one area of sacrifice for the small form factor. It doesn't have a lot of processing power so navigating menus is a little slow. Everything runs great though, so I am also happy with the trade on processing speed for form factor. The sound is also really good for any projector. It's just like a little bt speaker. Others are quite terrible usually. Plus you'd want to plug any projector into a sound system if you want that experience. I actually liked this so much I bought a second one that's still sealed in the box.

Outstanding little projector.
Doesn't really have any faults. My daughter uses it for 3-4 hours a day for the last 6 months. Nice PQ and decent audio. Would definitely buy again.
