Correct product for the job. Look after your thetford WC seals with a quick spray

Toilet and Other Seal Spray
Spray to keep the rubber seals lubricated, especially the thetford toilet. Just spray the aerosol and that's it done. Also used around the Windows of the Caravan, door seals on the Cars.

Decent stuff
I might have used vaseline or KY, but this was for the window seals on my home double glazed windows and those on the motorhome. Works well. Stops them sticking.

Good lubricant
Provides an excellent silicone lubricant for the toilet seals and numerous other plastic items. Has made a huge improvement to the plastic door retainer on the caravan and improved the slide ability in the awning slot.

Ease of fitting.
Does the job without causing the seal to deteriorate.Easy to use.Also easy to fit with just a screwdriver.

Easy to apply.
Easy to apply. I seems like you could use wd40 in instead, but I have read several articles that warn against this practice. Apparently it leaves a sticky residue that can affect the seals over time. This is just a pure silicone spray and seems OK.
