Jarrow Ideal Bowel Support (Dairy & Gluten Free, 10 Billion Organisms, 30 Vegan Capsules)

This product was recommended by my nutritionist to help keep me regular as I am a vegetarian and find it hard to be regular. It works very well and seems better than taking something like senna or laxatives. I notice the difference when I haven’t taken them. I would strongly recommend this product.

The product itself is amazing. it's literally cured my IBS - I've been using it for about a year and I have nowhere near the sorts of problems I used to have. I highly recommend trying it if your IBS is ruining your life.However, this latest batch I bought from Amazon came and the actual foil packets the tablets came in weren't labelled/stamped, and as I took the silver packets out of the box it was then hard to distinguish which of my tablets were these ones. I complained about this to Amazon as I'm sure it can't meet compliance as it could potentially be dangerous, and they gave me a refund. I hope this doesn't happen with future orders as I have to take a lot of medication and I need to clearly see on the silver packets what I'm taking. I can't carry around all my tablets in their big boxes!

It does what it says on the pack!!

I discovered a quick acting detox effect from L. plantarum at doses above 3 billion. It kicks in after about 30 minutes clearing my brain fog and aches, with an effect lasting for hours.I've seen no studies documenting this. The nearest was a study on how Kimchi breaks down (or detoxifies) organo-phosphate molecules from fertiliser. L. plantarum is one of 3 microbes in Kimchi.This is by far the weakest of 4 types I tried. It does almost nothing. I've also tried Quest, Solgar and Swanson brands.If you want L. plantarum my suggestion is that you buy either Quest 2 billion/cap or Solgar 20 billion/cap. Quest is by far the most expensive per billion but has the most powerful effect on my system. 2 x 2 billion of that is *far superior to this particular 10 billion capsule. I wonder if it's because it's a local brand. Solgar is also good and a better value than the Quest version.I feel disappointed that I've wasted my 15+ quid on this as it's now for the bin.Oh well. You win some, you lose some.

I use it from time to time for almost 2 years now. great probiotics especially for bloating, gas and uncomfy feeling. highly recommend it.

Helps no end with the IBS

Expensive considering it has only 10 billion, I switched to 30 billion for the same price.

Took for a month didn't notice any difference.
