Review: Great WIFI mesh system - I have had this system since 2022 and use it with Hyperoptic broadband and very rarely have had problems while using it. If the network goes down, it takes a bit of time to reconnect and needs regular reboots due to sometimes dropping connections to devices and then blacklisting that device so it only works after a reboot (of the main node) or if you set static IP in the settings. Old 2.4 GHz power plugs lose connection due to IP lease expiring in dchp or your WiFi channel being busy or just not jiving for some reason. You want to analyse your WiFi spectrum to see most busy channels in different areas of your house and then set the correct WiFi channel.
Review: Great system, not so great app - I have StarLink and the routers WiFi is dire. I had an old Deco set-up that worked for a while, but later it was getting very slow speeds and somehow even effecting the main router. StarLink suggested a new mesh system and i got this. It's amazing. Very easy to set-up and the wifi is extremely strong even in an old house that sucks wifi signals out of the air. Each unit has 3 ethernet connections which is really useful. It's been rock solid for a couple of weeks. The only issue I've had is the App. It said main unit was working but the other two were disconnected, but they were working fine. Have done a couple of resets so far which is not great. But the actual wifi has being soild. The app is not highly rated on the itunes store. Overall, I'm very happy considering the cost. I dont need the greatest and fastest system as my Speed tops out at around 320mbps. Just be aware the app is not great. EDIT. It’s turned out to be very janky. All the hubs just randomly lock-up or disconnect. They sometimes show up on the app and sometimes disappear. Entering the password comes back with “incorrect”. You end up having to reset them. Should have done what I suspected in the first place, but something decent.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i buy two of these packs and connect all 6 together?**
A: Yes, but additional cubes / packs won't connect automatically to the originals. You'll need to plug them in one at a time, then use the app. Go to settings, then "add new device".

**Q: Does plugging in an ethernet to the back of the device allow for more than 100mbps?**
A: Specifications on the product's website states that both Ethernet ports are Fast Ethernet, so it can only run at 100 Mbps apparently, making the 5Ghz WiFi on this device quite useless. I mean, say I have 2 devices connected to Tenda, both downloading some big file from internet, they will anyway saturate at 100Mbps, regardless how power is my connection at home. But, honestly, how many times do I need a speed higher than 100 Mbps while doing some browsing with smartphones or laptops? That's why I've left my main PC connected via ethernet directly to the router, saving a lot of money buying 4x MW3 instead of 4x MW5.

**Q: Im after replacing my homeplugs and need a wired internet not just wifi, Can you get network cable internet feed or just all wifi ? its for my cctv.**
A: Yes each unit has 2 ethernet ports at the rear for a wired connection

**Q: Can I plug these into an extension lead or does it have to be the wall?**
A: These are not Home Plugs.  They connect to each other via WiFi.

Bought this as my son was moaning about speed of WiFi & powerline Ethernet in his room. Probably overkill for a 2 bed house but I love it. Easy setup, app good. Great speed with WiFi & wired. The xbox addicted pre-pubescent is happy!! By the way, I couldn’t get this working straight off the Sky fttp box, I had to connect to Sky router. No biggy, just disable WiFi on Sky router.
