Seems to be of good quality. I’m not a heavy user of tape, but when I use masking tape it’s a hassle to always have to use scissors to make a straight cut. This product works well for my application. I don’t know how well it works in high use applications. It seemed to get good reviews.

LOVE this! It makes my life so much easier. I'm always using this to dispense tape to label food. I watched and watched for probably a year for this to go on sale and it never did. Eventually I just went ahead and ordered it. Totally worth it. It seems like a lot iof $$ for what it is, but the amount of time I save using scissors to cut tape is worth it to me. This really adds time back into my day and gives me one less thing to think about. Anything that can make life a little bit more effortless is a big win for me!

I searched far & wide for a reasonably-priced dispenser for masking or painters' tape, and I finally found this one! So I bought 2 dispensers & LOVED them; but, unfortunately, the plastic piece that holds the roll into the dispenser on both broke quite easily. It's still usable without it, but it's annoying and more awkward to use.They were unavailable to order for a long time, so I looked for an alternative to my broken ones--without success. Then, YAY! they were back. I ordered 2 more this time. This is an (almost) perfect dispenser at a good price & I'm happy I could finally replace my broken ones. If they could fix that problem, this would definitely be 5-star product.Also, I wish they would make one for 1-1/2" tape!! Maybe one for 2" tape that could also be used for 1-1/2"?

I recently used painters plastic to protect my furniture during a new HVAC installation and duct removal. I wanted to make sure the plastic tape didn't fail so I double it with blue tape using this tool. How did I get this far in life without this tool?!! I love it! Cutting tape was so darn easy and I bought two so my grandson could use one. We covered four bedrooms and closets and this tools held up to all of our work. I cannot recommend this tool enough, even for every day use.

I bought 2 dispensers like this, years ago, then could not find them available any more. Then a year ago I found this brand and it seems identical and just as handy. And now I am buying a 4th one. I have them all over the house because I use masking tape to label and tape just about everything. It handles so easily and cuts so straight, I use the tape for more than I would if I had to tear it each time, plus find the end of the tape each time. I'm very grateful to have these.
