I am so pleased to finally find an oven cleaner that actually WORKS!My oven is totally minging. There's no other word for it. I had tried a so called heavy duty industrial strength cleaner that was useless and a mental scraper that was helpful but requires lots of effort, elbow grease and time. I decided to give this a try as people had mentioned that you could leave it to clean and just needed to wipe off when it's done (perfect when you have an active 7 month old!).When I first received it, I used it on the wire rack that goes inside the oven. I left it on while I got on with my day. When I came to remove the gel the wire rack was cleaned to perfection in the areas where the gel was applied. I was a bit hap hazard about applying it and the areas where I had missed or only put a tiny amount of gel were not as clean but that's my fault for not being more thorough.I applied the gel to the oven on the evening, leaving it overnight. It worked wonders. It's so clean I am really happy but again, I was haphazard when applying so there are a few areas on the sides that are not 100% clean but are a lot better than they were before. I aim to do a second application tonight on the areas I missed.I would definitely recommend this product as it really does the trick. You apply and leave and it just seems to melt the grease away. I'm so impressed that I am going to buy another bottle. I live in army quarters and when you move properties you have to clean EVERYTHING and if it's not satisfactory you get charged. I would normally pay someone to clean the oven but this time I'm going to use a bottle of this as I'm confident it'll do the trick (I just need to take more time when applying).Removal is probably the messiest part and most time consuming hence one star less for removal. I had to use lots of kitchen roll to mop up the dirty gel and it made quite a mess, next time I'll be more prepared.I also want to add that although it's toxic/ chemical based, it doesn't have a smell, it didn't make my nose water or anything (like most normal cleaners do).I should add a few tips that could help you when you use this for the first time1. Take your time when applying so that not to miss areas2. For bad parches use a thick layer3. Ideally do it and leave overnight4. Removal is messy and you need either lots of kitchen roll or cloths to mop up the mess.If you want a product that works then give this a try, you will be glad you did!

I had to clean a really really dirty oven and this product needed to be applied twice. The first time I left it for 2-3hrs, which got rid of the first/newest layer of dirt, then I had to re-apply it to get rid off the old dirt and I left it overnight.PROS:- it has no irritating smell- arms protectors provided (that's very helpful, you won't burn your skin)- very good for a bit dirty and moderately dirty ovens- the product did a good job with a EXTREMELY DIRTY oven after applying it twice- the product is really thick, so it lasts longerCONS:- I found it annoying to apply it with the provided brush, it takes forever, maybe a spray bottle would be better- had to reapply it and leave overnight to get rid of all the dirt (the oven was extremely dirty so I guess it had to be done)

This is the best oven cleaner. It's easy to use and works like a miracle. And there's no strong smell either! The previous bottle lasted quite a while as you don't need too much to make a difference.It's a great value for money and I wouldn't even entertain other oven cleaners.

Brilliant! No smell, just use as directed and wash the shelves off next morning!

This stuff is wicked! It removes anything and everything that gets stuck in your oven, and if gets on you, it starts removing that as well!!!!! Always wear the gloves and I always use eye protection (simple glasses). The brush that comes with the liquid gel does the job, but if you brush it on it has the tendency to flick if you are not careful. I always start on the inside of the doors first and leave for an hour and then wipe off thoroughly; 3 or 4 wash downs. Then start brushing gel on from the back of the oven to the front. Through trial and error I have found that it takes about 2 to 3mm of gel to get a good cleaning action and leaving it for 3 to 4 hours for heavily stained oven bottoms.; AND always on a cold oven. Don't make the mistake I made of adding it to a warm oven thinking it would be help the cleaning process, the fumes created made me realize I had made a mistake! I do go back and agitate the laid down gel and that seems to help on those very thick, congealed stains. On thick stains it may take more than one coating to finally get it off. I have also used a plastic knife to help scrape or agitate the gel and stain. I was also worried that this stuff would eat the rubber seals on the oven door (Neff) but it doesn't which was a relief. I use this every 4 to 6 weeks and it keeps the oven spotless. Anyway 5 start product!

I usually buy another brand (which was what I was searching for when this came up) but this along with the bags for the racks (sold separately) seemed like a good deal.I spread a thick layer around on the bottom of the oven and left it for a couple of hours. It was easy to wipe off and has taken the majority of the crap with it but not every thing. The glass was easier to clean and came up really well.Ultimately it did the job and it looks much cleaner but I think the other brand is better.
