My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES Frozen, especially Olaf, so we thought he might like to have an Olaf costume for Halloween this year. I searched Amazon for awhile and came upon this costume which looked adorable even in the picture. I was amazed by the price and it had pretty good reviews so we ordered it. As soon as we received it in the mail, I had my son try it on to make sure it fit. For a reference, he usually wears 2T clothes, is approximately 36 inches tall and 29 pounds. We ordered the medium size (3T-4T) because we live in Wisconsin and it is always possible to have a cold Halloween so I wanted the costume to have some room underneath to allow for layers. The fit was excellent and, although it was a bit loose, we can easily fit some clothes on underneath. The costume comes in several pieces. There is a thinner layer that is like a bodysuit and goes underneath the costume. It is white and basically is a shirt, pants, and the brown arms all in one piece. Another piece is the two snowballs and the hat is the final piece and has velcro to fasten it under his chin. The two outer pieces are made of fairly warm material and my son was getting warm in the house wearing it but he also tends to be on the warmer side anyway. The costume is so adorable and my son was so excited to get it that it made me incredibly happy to buy it for him! The price was excellent and the quality seems fairly good. My son looked so adorable that I would highly recommend this Olaf costume to anyone who likes Olaf and wants a good costume for Halloween or any other occasion!

Easy to put on and warm for the colder October nights. It's such a cute costume and anyone who loves Olaf, this will not disappoint.

I purchased this Olaf costume for my 14 month old child. Based on previous reviews I decided to purchase a size 2T. My baby sits somewhere in the 60-70th percentile. I’ve divided my review into three portions since the costume came with three separate pieces.The body (mid-section of Olaf) is great. It’s very thick and will help to keep a child warm (especially if you’re like me and live in the chilly New England area). The size 2T fit perfectly. It is not too and is able to accommodate a layer underneath. However, it’s also not so loose that my child would trip when she walked. This part really helped to give her the “bulky” snowman appearance. It’s made incredibly well and definitely seemed like a higher quality than some of the traditional Halloween costumes out there.The white bodysuit with the “stick” arms was much more flimsy and consistent with store bought Halloween costumes. The material was very thin and would not keep a child warm. The legs were so incredibly long I would have had to just cut them in order to make them work. The arms fit fine but I didn’t think we really needed them to make it work. What we did instead was just put on a white shirt and pants and did not use the bodysuit.We had the most issues with the head. However, a couple fixes and it worked out fine. First issue was the head attaches to the body piece with Velcro. My child was able to easily grab the head piece and rip it off. So, prior to trick or treating I purchased some snaps and sewed them on the head and the body to keep both together. It worked perfectly and she was not able to pull it off. The next issue was the head would slip down over her eyes. I think the head portion would fit an actual two year old fine, but not so much a 14 month old. Again, this was a rather easy fix. I gathered together some of the fabric at the back of the head and stitched it all together to pull the eyes and nose of the character a little higher on her head. It worked fine. I did have some extra work with the head portion but it had the same nice quality as the body so it was worth it.Overall, I was very pleased with this costume. Once I fixed some of the issues it looked great on my child and we got plenty of compliments. I would recommend purchasing a size or two larger, but be prepared to make your own modifications.

Great costume, fit really well

I got this for my 14 month old for Halloween, and it fit her great (I bought the 12-18month size)! For the price, I was impressed with quality. I thought it was pretty great and she looked ADORABLE in it! The legs were way too long, but it didn't matter because we just tucked them into her Robeez boots that she wore with the costume. It is quite a warm costume, so eventually we had to take the head off because she got too hot, but other than that, it was perfect!

I ordered this costume for my small 4 year old son to wear at Disney World and for Halloween. He's in size 3T pretty consistently, so I ordered the 3T-4T for him. It fits him perfectly AND kept him warm on Halloween! I've machine washed and dried it twice with no issues, and it stood up to a candy rampage both times he wore it. The stains came out to the point I can't see any stains at all on Olaf's belly. There is some pilling on the legs that I'm not happy about, but it doesn't affect the wear of the costume and seems inherent to the nature of the fabric used for the body suit portion of the costume. All-in-all, I'd totally order this again. The price was amazing for the product we got. This costume is now in the dress-up bin!

I paid $13 (free shipping) and am very pleased with this. I bought it on a whim and did not realize there are three pieces: a thin white body suit with brown "bark" print arms and "branch" flaps to go over the hands, the two-bump snowman body, and the head. The two-bump body is easy to slip on, and while it is not padded, it still has a nice round, puffy shape. It would be easy to add layers for warmth if you wanted to take this trick-or-treating, or even to tack in a little padding just for shape. The body suit is very thin, but the branch arms add a charming affect. The hat/hood is unlined and could be scratchy, but my kiddos (ages 5, 3, and 1) love playing with it and it doesn't seem to bother them. The costume design seems like it would fit a variety of kids. I ordered the Toddler "Small" for 2T but my 5-year-old fits it! (she is 50% so very average sized) All three of my kiddos have tried it on and all look adorable (didn't put the under suit on the baby though).
