Quite strong. Do not use in enclosed spaces. But after I took it outside and sprayed our ankles with it, I l9ved it. Really works. No bug landed all afternoon. I'm very careful about using anything around my dog she is only 4.5 lbs. But I sprayed some on my hands rubbed them together a touch the hairy area on the back of her legs. She didn't mind it at all.
