I bought these for my granddaughter for Christmas and she was thrilled!

The vanity and stool comes fully assembled, so it's ready to play with right out of the box. Speaking of the box, Mattel has put effort into keeping the box out of the recycle bin by printing a great background that folds out into a bedroom diorama background that you can keep, and use for storage as well. The accessories are very fun, and were a deciding factor for me in buying this set. In fact, it was so awesome and well-priced, I had to buy two. Unfortunately, it is designed with holes on the desk that the accessories plug in to, rather than sitting anywhere. This is great for kids, because the slightest tap on the vanity would knock the things off of it. But this means that there are several holes in the vanity top if you don't have the items pushed in as intended. If you're a crafty adult collector, you can fill in the holes and go on with enjoying the vanity. The drawer opens (both of mine are slightly difficult to open) and all the accessories fit inside the drawer.

I love that there are small holes to snap some of the accessories into so they stay put on the vanity. However, not all the accessories have this snap in feature, like the picture frame, which falls off easily if bumped. The vanity is level and stable, and my curvy articulated Barbie sits easily on the chair without getting stuck on the vanity drawer. HOWEVER if you don’t have a doll with bending knees she will fit very awkwardly! The drawer doesn’t stick and has plenty of room for all the accessories and more! There are a few scratches on the mirror but it’s pretty good quality for doll furniture. Glad I bought this, and it firs in great with my little Barbie dollhouse, even though they aren’t part of the same set.

We love playing make believe with Barbie so this was a perfect addition to my daughter’s toys. She sets it up and plays camping with it. It is made well and the accessories are fun. Definitely a great gift for the Barbie lover.
