Certainly does the job!
I'm impressed with how strong and robust that these are after setting up both the plunger and twist parts. It takes me a while on how to research something and figure out how to use it, so I had to repeatedly watch a handy video guide on YouTube that showed me which way to screw the rod parts on. You screw them on clockwise until tight and only twist clockwise when they're down in the gunk! Yuck. They're superb quality tools for such a reasonable price too.

Flexible, strong enough
I have a drain which blocks every couple of months. I have cleared it a couple of times using the claw attachment, which worked ok. The last time I used the rods, I used the rubber plunger. This succeeded in pushing out several large pieces of er material, leaving the pipe clear. I am hoping that having cleared the pipe will prevent future blockages.Nov2024:Have used them several times with the rubber plunger - very effective, and no problems with breakages. All good, and very flexible.Does anybody know what the rods are made of (Toolzone should tell us, but they don’t 👎🏽)

Got me out of the s#!t
Worked for me with a properly blocked waste water pipe. Builds decent pressure and very flexible. Claw tool worked well for breaking down the blockage. Far cheaper than getting dynarod out.

Simple, cheap, effective!
Drain-rods are NEVER fun to use! As always, it was in an 'emergency' that I bought these... hoping that I would only need to use them once! However, my problem was persistent. It turned out to be a collapsed pipe, which had to be dug out and replaced. What that meant was that these rods got repeated heavy use, by myself and others, in attempting to solve a really difficult blockage. They survived, did all that a drain rod can, and never let me down. I think that was a thorough test, and I am keeping them safe in case the same kind of problem happens again.Cheap, simple, effective - that's all you need!

Poor Quality
I needed something in a rush, and definitely regret buying these, they are very thin and poorly made, and will easily break at the joints. I wouldn't recommend them

Next to useless
I bought these as someone had said too bendy and I had a need for less rigid rods. This purchase was a mistake even when wanting something slightly less rigid. The metal fixtures are wobbly as are the tines on the cork screw end. I could easilly see you losing parts of these down your drains.I would recomend spending the money and getting a good set. These would work to some degree but I wont be trying to use my set again. One reason these are so soft is they are made with Tubes not solid Rods of plastic. I noticed they drain water after coming out of the drain. This is a hygene problem on top of the fragile nature of them. Also explains why the ferules are wobbly as you cant tighten the rivets onto a tube without crushing it. Dont waste your money
