My mom had been wanting one of these for a while so we got her one for Mother’s Day and she loves it so much. It’s really cool and definitely worth the money. She likes how she can change to color to match her mood.

The media could not be loaded. I wish the base were black. I thought that’s what I was getting. Otherwise, the sand art is super cool!! I purchased BLUE & I love the hint of white & yellow, too!! Definitely not what is pictured. The sand colors are pretty, but i have to shake it to get the sand to fall. It sat all week without moving just sand on top and nothing on bottom. Everyone asked what it does... apparently nothing? Disappointed for the price. Also very cheaply made, the glue or whatever holding the glass together looks like it's peeling off around the edges. Would not recommend at all.

This item is fine once the low water is adjusted. There is no tool included to adjust the water/air levels. Mine barely had water in it. I had to get a separate syringe and blunt needle to fix it. Led doesn't really illuminate the sand but that's a issue with the overall design and not with the light. Everything works it's just not going to be perfect straight out of the box.

Very relaxing, was loved as a gift.

Water only goes about 3/4 of the way to the top. A lot of the sand is stuck at the top. Have to turn it to get it down. I saw other listings mention a syringe. None included with this one.Didn't come with instructions. I don't know how to pair the remote. I suspect I have to hold the button on the unit, and probably a button on the remote. Don't know how long, nor which button. I've searched. I've found some pages that looked promising. But, none have worked, so far.Update: Changed rating from 2 to 4 stars.I ordered a bigger sand art device. That one came with a syringe. Turns out, that works fine on this device, too. If you don't want to buy another of these, and you have your own syringes, you want a very thin needle. Very thin. I've never seen a medical needle this thin, but I assume it's a standard size.The instructions for the bigger one said to withdraw air until there's 1 cm left. You can also add water with the syringe. You want very pure water, so you don't get algae growing in there. And, you don't want to put very much water in, because the pressure will crack the glass. For way too much air in it, you might want a combination of pulling air out and putting water in. So far, all I did was remove air. It's working well as of a few hours later.Another tip. After turning it 180 degrees a coupla times, the sand got so mixed that it was fairly homogeneous. It wasn't very interesting too look at. Tilting it about 80 degrees and letting it run down multiple times, it has stratified a lot, and looks a lot better.

Very beautiful sand art, takes your mind off the stresses of life. Multiple colors illuminated from base, comes with remote or touch change on off on base. Makes an excellent nightlight.

First lamp wouldn't work. Couldn't get it to light up. Replacement sent promptly and is working great.
