Works perfect for full size 1911 .45 acp
Fantastic. Works perfectly with Springfield armory Garrison .45acp 1911. This is a extremely well built product. The open end bottom allows for longer barrels. The weapon is secured in the holster by a snap strap. I personally like this. If you're out in the boonies, you don't need/want to worry about your sidearm falling out. This strap keeps it secured. Removing your weapon is no problem. Will draw out with minimal effort.This is a Comfortable rig with a beautiful finish and sturdy build. DESIGNED FOR 1.5" belt. This metal belt clip is very strong. With just enough gap to slide a 1.5" GUN BELT through. Don't just use a regular belt. It won't hold up to all you shooting attachments. Gun belts are thicker.I recommend this holster for EDC, the range, hunting etc.SgtWall USMC

Nice leather 1911 holster
This holster is nice-looking. The leather is well-formed and fits my RIA 1911 perfectly. The barrel extends slightly past the end of the holster, maybe 1/4". The two snaps on the retention strap allow me to holster and secure the gun with the hammer either down or cocked. I like that there is a small hole allowing access to the magazine release. The belt clip is strong and fits my belt well. I'm pleased with the purchase.

Works with other 5 inch pistols
Purchased this for my full-size government version 1911 and fits like a glove. Leather is high quality, blown away for the price. Color is just as I expected, it’s a dark brown. After some use, the leather does soften up and provide a more custom feel and fit for your gun. Liked it so much was searching for one for my Beretta 92X full-size, couldn’t find one so just tried to see if it would fit the one I bought for my 1911 and it actually fits perfectly. Other holsters are not interchangeable between these two pistols but the way this holster, specifically the trigger guard lines up perfectly as well as the part that covers the barrel. So I ordered a second one for my Beretta. Highly recommend these.

Great for the value.
Leather is great. Holds great when on the hip. RIA 45ACP fits great. Only thing is I wish it was a paddle instead of a clip holster for similar price. A bit irritating after awhile, Inconvenient to get on and off the hip.

Great holster for 1911
This holster securely holds my Springfield 1911 full size mil spec. The quality of the leather seems to be decent. I like how well it sits with my belt. It stays in place and has been a great holster this far.
