Good 2in1 but beware, do not expect Tablet like feel like Ipad Pro
Overall this is a good solid machine. I got this one for £750 during amazon day sale. Which is great.I will cover both Pros and Cons at a high level.Starting with Pro:Brilliant Screen (resolution, display quality), great built quality, built in stand is very handy. Great camera and mic. This is great device for meetings and calls.Battery life is good as well (like 8hours easily). Windows software is getting better with each update.2 thunderbolt very handy.Cons:When I started using, this machine was very difficult to use. Initially software was very bad and buggy. Lots and lots of crashes and screen freezing initially. It became better over time with the software updates but still be mindful that this is not a tablet and windows have so much catching up to do with Apple. On paper this has latest intel processor but trust me it doesn't mean that it is faster. I have intel 10 gen Macbook air 2020 model and it annihilates surface pro 9 by a country mile even in simple website browsing so be mindful of that. If you need this to be super fast then go for a 16gb ram version. And windows is generally not quite fluid as Apple and crashes happen frequently. This is ecosystem problem so you better know this already. In short this is a good machine to have even with window's shortcomings against Apple.

Microsoft Surface Pro 9
I am absolutely in love with the Microsoft Surface Pro 9! As someone who needs both power and versatility on the go, this device is an absolute game-changer. The laptop-level performance combined with the tablet functionality is the perfect balance, and the virtually edge-to-edge display is stunning. I also love the built-in kickstand and Surface Pro Keyboard, which make it easy to get productive at any angle. And let's not forget about the Surface Slim Pen 2—the tactile signals make it feel like you're writing on paper, and it's perfect for signing, sketching, or navigating. Overall, the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is the ultimate device for anyone who needs power, versatility, and portability. I highly recommend it!

Fine as a portable PC not good as a tablet.
This device is very good as a portable PC when you use it with a physical keyboard and a mouse or at least with a touch pen, but it is not a good device to be used as a tablet. Windows OS is just not a system made to be used with a touch screen and a finger. Elements of the User Interface in the OS and all third party software are way too small and none of them were designed with a touch use in mind.

Loving it so far.
This is an upgrade from the Surface Pro 3 I have had for many years.I got it on Amazon Deal Day for £750 which makes it good value for money. Many improvements have been made compared to my Pro 3.I like a bright screen so when it is on battery it doesn't last anywhere near what MS claims but overall I really like what I have.I have a Microsoft Classroom Pen 2 which works great with this Pro 9 and have opted for an external compact Mechanical RGB keyboard which I believe is much more comfortable and better to use than the MS attachable keyboard and Slim pen, which in my humble opinion, are not worth the extra £250.Overall, so far it has been a great purchase both as a desktop PC and as a tablet.Very please.

I can get it in a very short time
It is a good computer, but it is not so special. My old Toshiba (10 year old) was not so slower than this. The price is definetely too high for this machine, but I was in need for a good computer in a short time, and this arrived the day after I have ordered it.

Love the surface pro
I love my surface pro. It is just such a gorgeous piece of kit. I know it is expensive but it brings me so much joy. The green colour is lovely too.

Didn't work and AMAZON didn't want to know or help
I don't know where to start, I had a terrible time with Amazon trying to resolve this. I'm out of pocket for the security and VPN I purchased for the Surface. Amazon wasn't worried about that either - SO BE AWARE Amazon won't help you when things go wrong or won't work, only refund which isn't helpful in all cases. (like mine). Customer Service (That's a joke) passed me from call handler to call handler with no intention of help. Evidently they don't have a complaints process, even the Team Leaders - Robert and Sophia (you can't speak to a manager) gave me the round a round, Robert sent me to Microsoft after saying he had tried on my behalf. Don't know how, coz MS told me couldn't help without the item working so they can look remotely (so that was a lie as well) and I should speak to Amazon as they sold the Surface to me. The internet side worked, only Microsoft app and system didn't - click an icon and it wold disappear. It had a message saying the battery installed wasn't Microsoft and may damage some processes. I took pictures of all the messages and issues but Amazon wasn't interested and MS couldn't help so now I'm out of pocket with a 2 year security I brought. Too much else to go into as Amazon couldn't be bothered, I won't go on either. Lesson Learned, Don't go to Amazon customer services for help - they feed you rubbish, cut you off or pass you around. (I should give a shout out to Amazon Tech Team - that was a laugh - don't understand you or can't help they put you back in the main call queues without notice) Over 3/4 days I spent around 8 hours trying to resolve with Amazon - but they win, I'm getting a refund and going to C u rr y's for a new Surface
