A lifesaver and an essential book for a law student - would recommend!
I'm a second year Law student and Land Law is certainly the most complicated law module I've encountered so far. It's confusing and difficult to penetrate... even after reading through pages of my textbooks. So, this has been an absolute lifesaver. This isn't like a normal overview: it ensures that you cover pretty much everything that you need to know in a concise and easy to understand way. It's not simply good as a revision tool, it will help you to understand everything better during term time. I wouldn't use this on its own, though - you'll still need to go to your lectures and read your mammoth textbooks, but this is an essential book to have alongside everything else. Essential. I would absolutely recommend it.

Priceless revision aid
I couldn't recommend these books more. Amazing for revision as well as a useful class aid.

Has mostly good content on here
Has mostly good content on here, however some choices of cases included aren't the most relevant (at least for my course). This is good as a revision aid along with lecture notes and a textbook, but not on its own.

Sadly not, perhaps look for an alternative
Unfortunately this book ('Land Law') really stands out from the other LawExpress books being comparatively very weak. The book lacks detail and often makes its remarks in a very short, terse way that wouldn't allow a student to confidently reproduce that information - even for a summary, condensed text such as this. When revising with this book, I often spent hours simply trying to clarify, or even verify, the information within it and it isn't always immediately obvious in which resource I would be able to do that.Probably the most value that a student could get out of this book would actually be as a bit of preparation before taking a Land Law/Property Law module, studying it over the summer/winter breaks in order to get a solid grounding in the subject but as preparation for the exam, I would say that it lacks adequate detail and doesn't consolidate the information it contains well enough to allow students to, without significant reference to other resources, write their essays with confidence. It's a pity as many other LawExpress books really are very good.

The Law Express series is usually a great revision tool
The Law Express series is usually a great revision tool. Unfortunately I found the Land Law edition very confusing and the chapters hard to follow. If you're looking for a compressed revision guide I'd definitely recommend the law concentrate series over express for land law.
