Tapo C225 2K 4MP Pan/Tilt Indoor Security Camera Privacy Shield CCTV Camera

I installed one of these indoors for some friends as a general pet monitoring device. The unit is beautifully neat and sits happily on a worktop or shelf. Setup was pretty easy, after installing the app, and after some tests and trials we homed in on the settings we wanted. The AI detection of humans versus animals, seems to work as do the notifications based on motion or audio. It did a great job of detecting barking for instance. Video quality seems perfectly fine for its application and the pan and tilt etc do work remotely via the app. Several people can get notifications and live view with the app but only one of those will be the master with access to the full settings for any changes etc, you choose how you do this at install time. Can't speak for reliability but other reviews seem positive, I was very impressed for the price paid, also no subscriptions when using microSD card to record any events, there's a paid cloud service I believe.

I replaced all my ring cameras with Tapo and it was the best move! So nice not to have to pay a subscription and still have full use of my cameras really easy set up, clear pictures and sound. Battery life is great, great value for money, motion detection, lighting and just over all a good quality product

Download app from store. Just make sure you get the official app from TP-Link (search for TP-Link rather than just Tapo). Easy to set up (watch a youtube video) first. Very easy to operate and the picture quality is very good. Motion detection notifications can be a pain but voice notification is easily turned off. All in all - I recommend.

The Tapo C210 is a great indoor security camera with clear 2K image quality and smooth pan and tilt movement. The setup is simple, the app is easy to use, and the night vision works well. A reliable camera for keeping an eye on your home, pets, or family.

Easy to set up, ( I have existing Tapo systems ) plenty of options.Bought as a replacement for a netatmo older device which had failed.Mains powered via normal 3 pin adapter / step down transformer.Picture is bright, clear even in low light.No subscription charges ( well Tapo do an optional cloud server payable, if you want it )I would say it’s about the size of a soup tin, maybe a tiny bit bigger, but not unwieldy.Has a tilt and follow mode if required.My only criticism is the software doesn’t have facial recognition - something the netatmo did have, but the picture resolution is far better.

These Tapo products are excellent. Really easy to set up. Simple to connect to your phone and your wifi network. Good easy to navigate app. Also very reasonably priced

I highly recommend this camera, the most affordable but has very good quality. It keeps on falling when I move it and still has no scratches and I have been using it for months, never had any issue. I like it because as a highly anxious first time mom, I can watch my daughter even if I am far especially if I will return to work in months time I want to see my baby and make sure she is safe. I can also easily see my baby even in the dark, I can hear her well for any movement, I can communicate to my husband anytime right away using the Tapo camera. I installed it really quick and the account is really secured as it needs your email and password, I can also access it with different mobiles for me and my husband. The camera looks posh and made of durable material not cheap plastic. Even in poor lighting I can clearly watch my baby, when I am busy in the kitchen and the bedroom is dark it doesn't disturb her sleep.

Besonders die Schwenk- und Neigefunktion ist sehr praktisch, da sich nahezu der gesamte Raum bequem über die App überwachen lässt. Die Nachtsicht funktioniert zuverlässig und liefert auch bei völliger Dunkelheit noch ein klares Bild.Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Möglichkeit, Aufnahmen lokal auf einer microSD-Karte zu speichern. So ist kein Cloud-Abonnement notwendig, wenn man seine Aufnahmen lieber direkt auf der Kamera sichern möchte. Auch die Zwei-Wege-Audiofunktion funktioniert einwandfrei und eignet sich beispielsweise, um mit Personen im Raum zu sprechen oder Haustiere zu beruhigen.Ich nutze die Kamera zur Live-Überwachung und die Bildübertragung läuft stabil und flüssig. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend.Insgesamt bietet die Tapo C210 viele Funktionen, eine sehr gute Bildqualität und eine einfache Bedienung zu einem fairen Preis. this one is teaming up with another tapo model and works good, again easy to set up wifi only but in return has more noise detection modes.

Ho acquistato questa video camera su consiglio diretto di un'amica che la aveva già a casa sua.La telecamera è di semplice utilizzo, va collegata alla rete elettrica e tramite app dedicata connessa al wifi.Dall'app si può verificare la connessione, si possono aggiungere altre telecamere (cosa che farò al più presto), si può zoommare e ruotare l'inquadratura.La telecamera può essere appoggiata ovunque e persino essere fissata al muro sia in posizione orizzontale che capovolta.Unico, unicissimo neo, arriva con la presa inglese (come mostro in foto) ma problema sormontabile con un semplice adattatore che costa non più di 1 euro.

I was very surprised how quick and easy the setup was. The video image is very clear even better than my other cctv cameras outside.Works very well during the night mode I was really surprised and takes 2 seconds to switch between day and night.It does have the V2 software not V1 and sets up with the playstore or iphone app.
