This little fellow is a great night light. There are different brightness settings and the lowest setting is perfect for having on at night. The bright setting is nice for bedside reading.

I bought my duck light two years ago, and it's worked perfectly ever since, even though I use it multiple times daily. I don't live in a house with small children and have so far treated it gently, so I can't vouch for how well it would function after the wear and tear of being used by kids. But it is definitely soft, doesn't get hot, and is a very cute decoration. I like that you can just pat it on the head to turn it on and off, which is a lot easier than picking it up, turning it over, and fumbling around in the dark to try and feel around for a small button or switch. All you have to do is give it a gentle tap. I also like the fact that it's rechargeable, and can be set to turn off after fifteen minutes, since I tend to be forgetful and could accidentally leave it on. It's also come in handy during power outages as emergency lighting.I'll admit it: this was an impulse-buy, because I saw a popular streamer purchase it, and I just thought it was cute. But since I've used it so much over the past two years, I decided to come back to the listing and leave some feedback, because I really do appreciate how useful my little duck has been, even if it wasn't something I thought I needed at the time.And, of course, I named him Benson. :)

I bought this for one of my students, but it's actually quite cute since I've checked it out myself. The silicone has a nice, soft feel. The light has a soft, warm glow. The high setting isn't super bright, so I would not use it for any kind of brighter light that you need to truly see what you're doing. It's definitely more of a gentle mood lighting. It's very sensitive, so you can give it a gentle bop anywhere on the duck to turn it on or off. I haven't had a chance to truly test the battery life out as I just checked it out today. I haven't been able to check the timer function out either, but I'm sure the battery and timer are just fine. I took pictures from the front of the duck trying to show the two different brightness settings, but I don't think it really came through. It fits in my hand quite well, so it's not too big a size either. I'm excited to give it to my student tomorrow and I hope they love it!

Not only is this my son’s absolute favorite item, I find myself using it to navigate through the dark house on the regular. Holds a charge great and is super cute for the baby room. We have even made sure to pack it on trips!

Got it for my mom who loves chickens as a little night lamp. She loves it. Have had it for about a year now and still works good

wise purchase. absolutely love it. easy to use, just slap it to turn it on and slap it to turn it off. lasts a good week on a charge and you can set it to stay on indefinitely/15 mins/30 mins intervals.would advise buying for whatever age.beats a lamp thats for sure
