The bundled software, as many other reviewers have pointed out, is worse than useless, but this is irrelevant since a quick search on Google will find you tonnes more free software which does exactly the same - and more - and therefore the bundled software is no reason to mark this product down or to dissuade your purchase.The tuner works perfectly, it does get hot to the touch whilst operating, but this has not proven a problem therefore must be well within the devices tolerances however potentially something to watch out for if the space in which you are using the device is poorly ventilated.The inclusion of DVB-T2 means that, provided signal strength where you live is adequate, this device will receive HD freeview broadcasts in the UK - excellent at the price charged.

I just wanted TV on my computer, nothing fancy, so low cost was important. This product does deliver Freeview HD at low cost on my computer, so no complaints, but there are two points (so far) that may be relevant to other potential purchasers.There is a remote control, but it is line of sight, so if the TV stick is plugged in to the back of your computer, (it will be, who wants a co-ax cable sticking out of the front of their kit?) it won't work.More curiously; the EPG is in Chinese. I assume other EPG systems are out there if I found this to be a problem.

Bought this with high hopes from the reviews. However, despite my having a decent aerial, and following the set-up instructions to the letter, I couldn't get the software to function properly. Certainly I could get all the available channels and the picture was excellent; however, clicking on many of the significant TV controls either didn't work or crashed the software. For example, I was unable to save the channels (crashed), use the EPG (crashed) or record anything (accused me of using disallowed symbols). I also tried the device with MediaPortal and Windows Media Centre, but it wouldn't work with these either. even when I updated its driver. (The driver supplied doesn't seem to be up-to-date.)For the record, my computer falls well within the required specifications, and I'm not a novice at setting up TV software.Reluctantly, I've had to return the device and go back to my old non-HD arrangements.

This device is rather buggy. It works well enough for me to keep it, but the remote control interferes with other applications on my computer; the channel list did not display properly at first (it was showing Chinese characters for 27 of the channels), this was corrected when I reloaded them but now the EPG is blank and does not load. The English part of the instruction book is written in poor quality English (I cannot comment on the other languages).

Initially gave this 1 star as the software would neither load nor function: but after 3 un-installs, and a 4th re-instal, the software now works really well. I have been enjoying BBC1 on a laptop with the simple supplied "aerial" next to a window in my office. The website does not mention the "ArcSoft" software, and the download pdf manual was dated 2007. However, the EPG seems to function well, the images on live tv are clear, and the sound is in sync. I have included a screenshot from the software.

Drivers on disk and website not working on my windows 10, the software totalmedia 3.5 won't load a picture only a green screen and now won't uninstall of my computer. Finally found working drivers and using Windows Media Center. The adaptor is okay it's just the software.

So far at least it does everything it says on the tin. The manual could be better written (so often the case with Chinese products), the remote control is a bit fiddly, and I haven't tried the portable aerial supplied (have no doubt it's crap), but the dongle works really well with our existing roof aerial.

I got this as a replacement for my August T210 that had died after a couple of years of heavy use (it couldn't tune channels anymore). This one worked straight out of the box: no configuration required, just a drop-in replacement for my T210. Has been working reliably for a couple of weeks now.
