The cutlass blade was a little bit flimsy but that did mean less potential injuries. The pistol looks really good and the firing action works. The eyepatch is decent. All in all my niece loved it all and used it to great effect to make us all walk the plank.

Arrived sword broken & snapped & obviously packed that way

These are great accessories for pantomime pirates. I provide costumes for our local AmDram society & regularly buy this sort of stuff. For the price I wasn't expecting much, but they're just what I'm after because they look so good. They're not particularly robust (wobbly sword blade, priming & trigger parts on gun a bit delicate) so may not take a lot of rough handling, but they DO look the part.

Package arrived ripped missing flintlock pistol. I am not the only customer to complain about this seems like a pattern. Avoid purchasing this.

My neighbours were having a pirate themed murder mystery night and I wanted something to adorn my steakpunk coat and pirate shirt so I looked the part. I would usually go to the local fancy dress shop but sadly it has recently closed (I can't think why that would be). This set consists of an eye patch, pretend sword and pretend gun. No one could possibly mistake these weapons for the real thing so I can't imagine that anyone would want to buy these items with any felonious motives in mind, if they do they will be disappointed. This is just a bit of fun. I know there are those who worry dressing up as characters leading to cultural appropriation but that will not be the case with these items. At least I hope not. It's just a bit of fun. It arrived quickly (next day) and although no the best quality I have ever seen it is as good as you would expect for less than a fiver. We had a great night anyway. Made in China.
