Happy dogs.
My dogs are veggie obsessed so this is great and easy to add to their lunch every day. Lovely variety. I wish they had beetroot in the mix too, but no hardship as I buy a separate bag of dried beets to add to the mix.

Veggie Dog Food Trial
I was recommended to try this veggie flakes dog food by a friend. It does look like rabbit food & you do have to spend a little time before feeding, to soak it. The dogs get this once a week & they love it. Never a scrap left & one of my dogs is quite fussy with new things. I wouldn’t feed it all the time, as would be too expensive for four dogs but it’s great for a weekly feed.

Dogs love it!
Dogs love the mixed vegetables with their food.

My dog does not like these!
They take a long time to soften in hot water and even then my dog refuses to eat in the morning! She usually eats anything and everything.

More herbs than anything else
Too many herbs, I have to put the whole bag through a culinder to get rid of them because my dog won't eat them and there isnt much left once I take them out.

Nice addition to my dogs food.
Like many of the other reviewers, I found this food needs to be soaked for much longer than the stated 10minutes. I soak until the alfalfa is soft.I raw feed my dogs, my fussiest dog will eat this when fully soaked but I can’t say it’s 10% of their overall diet, I alternate between fresh veg etc.I think this is a great addition to raw food but wouldn’t use it as their sole veg/fruit/herb source. It’s clearly good quality ingredients.

So far, so good!
So far, so good! I feed my rescue greyhounds as much of a BARF diet as I can, but am always concerned about ensuring they are getting enough vitamins, mineral and fibre. I mix a small handful of this which has been soaked in some boiling water for an hour, along with other supplements with their afternoon meal of a complete mince (80:10:10) and so far, even my highly fussy female doesn’t seem to have noticed it’s there (she has been known to pick & spit out peas and carrots mixed into her food!) and I might even go so far as to say actually seems to like it!
