Works like a charm, especially for drawings and renderings!
Highly recommend this product! I have purchased a few active stylus pens in the past but the DotPen Pro has been the most effective in terms of quality, battery life, overall appearance. I run an online design company doing renderings and floor plans for residential remodels and often have to tell contractors to make updates and fix what has been done wrong. Using this stylus pen makes it so easy to update drawings from many different devices (iPhone, tablet, etc). The pen is also very durable and lasts 10-12 hours on a full charge.

Great stylus for the digital sketch artist!
The DotPen Pro is the best all around stylus I've ever used...with a few caveats. Lets start with the good. Its a pen. It looks like a pen, it feels like a pen and it draws like a pen. I'm able to draw like I did with the stylus that came with my Note 3 phone back before I switched to Apple products (I really missed the pen when I switched to Iphone). It is super responsive and allows you to write and draw the way you would on paper. It worked on my Ipad mini 2 and my Iphone 7 plus. It's way better than the cheap rubber tipped stylus pencils you can get for $8 but not as versatile as an Apple pencil on an Ipad Pro. It is a basic stylus, but a good one. Now for the reason I couldn't give it a full five stars. The one issue I had was with my Iphone 7 plus. The tempered glass screen protector made me unable to draw anything without a good amount of pressure. It was too uncomfortable to use with the protector on for it to be used as a carry around stylus. When I used it directly on the screen without the protector, it worked fine.I have to say, it was a pleasure using it on the Ipad Mini 2. I had a great time sketching out floor plans for my living room and Batman picture for my four year old son (see photo). My 10 year old spent a whole night drawing and emailing me digital drawings. She had a blast! If you are a digital artist or just like to doodle, I recommend the DotPen Pro.

Tip Wears Out Fast
Was an ok stylus but not the greatest accuracy. The tip wore out with only light use after just three months and I can’t find replacement nibs. The body is nice and smooth and the charger is magnetic but none of this matters if you can’t make an accurate line. Can’t really recommend.

Great until it died
Loved this until the low battery light came on.... used the stylus for a week or so before it indicated needing to be recharged. Plugged it in, light blinked red indicating charging then went solid red again in about 15 min. Will not charge red light has been on for over 24 hours, cannot seem to power cycle stylus or turn it on or off, stylus will not register on screen due to low battery. Verified correct type of charger is being used and tried other outlets with no success. Stylus has not been dropped damaged gotten wet or been abused in any way, it’s been stored by itself in a protective leather sleeve. Loved this stylus until either it died or the charger crapped out on me.... would have given this a 5 otherwise.

One of the best non Apple pencil options.
With efforts to consolidate devices and note taking methods, I'm testing out different stylus options. The first in my line of testing is this DotPen Pro. i must say it is a solid option. I should also add that i’m solely using apple devices. So far i’ve been able to use it on the native note app and i’m not pleased. Not accurate and lots of trouble with double contact issues with my wrist. Conversely, i tried the pen with the OneNote app and it was solid. no real complaints worth mentioning. This leads me to belive, the result is dependent upon the app to which the user is using. I currently do not have any other note app options to test. The price might be a bit high for not having the wrist cancelation option, but its accurate enough and it works well as a stylus (tapping and moving files like your finger). I do feel that the charging method is a bit flashy and not great. i have to prop the pen against something to enable it to continue charging.

Pen dies quickly
Many of these do not last and the company is out of business. A person on eBay said he is the manufacturer, but quit responding to my questions about a failed pen.
